Someone told me that titans can slide and shatter frozen people plus you can combine with antaeus ward and slideshot.

Duskfield grenade and the hunter melee both slow, which I believe prevents people from sliding. Plus one of the aspects increases the duration of slow effects. I try to keep at least one melee charge stored to throw at anyone who sprints toward me.
