Allow veterens some face re-customization. Even one time.
After the new update, my titans lips looks like I binged powdered donuts.
I mean that fits.
But thats not what he looked like when I was born in D1.

I hope they're not ignoring this issue, I know its dumb, but I've lost a lot of interest in the game because my character doesn't feel like its mine anymore. I'm the type of person to spend hours in character creators. 😔 I don't want to start over either, my friend did that and he hates how the game acknowledges him now.

My Awoken was beautiful. She had such a kind, soft face, which was my favorite of the Awoken faces. It didn't look old, or snooty, and certainly not Asian. Nothing wrong with Asian, but I'm not Asian and I designed her to look more like I'd hope I would look if I got transformed to an Awoken. Not only that, but the face tattoo is now too prominent instead of having a nice fade and it makes her look like she has a unibrow. She legit looks like Frida Kahlo! Also, her lips aren't full like they they used to be, but pulled in. It looks like she just finished sucking on a lemon! A veteran player here from D1 and all these years we ask for the ability to alter or change our Guardian's looks (me, I just wanted to be able to change hairstyles now and again as the mood suited me, I was very happy with my face!) and Bungie denies us that, then they do it, themselves, which no one asked them to do, and completely screw up the look of our characters. I have to admit, while I'm not thrilled, at least my character isn't as bad as some of the other characters I've seen that friends are SUPER disappointed in and rightly so.

It feels like someone ran around my house and put everything in a different place. My warlock looks like a triangle got run over with dumbo ears and no lips. The character aspect of a game is so important and I’ve had her since 2017. Now it’s like idk who this girl is, but she’s ugly. Screenshots forever ruined, helmets only, or maybe by the grace of God Bungie will fix this. Ruin the game in every way but please just give my warlock her face back! My exo changed in the switch to d2, I hate it, it's use to be mat black sort of hard plasticky metal texture and in d2 it became carbon fiber. The worst texture ever imo. irl too.

Yeah this was actually pretty upsetting to me. My blue skin awoken looks white-ish now and has two chins instead of one. My hunter used to have the scarred white eye but the color grew back... it’s green now. Literally wrecked my in-game story for him, not that it matters to anybody. My exo stayed the same mostly. Great I guess. Glad my robot didn’t have a sexual identity crisis.

That awkward moment when bungie changed our characters to show that you can be whatever you want by telling us we couldn’t be what we wanted. I hate to sound like one of THOSE guys but this is actually what happened I feel like lol.

1 ReplyAgreed. My Awoken Female Titan used to have a soft and inviting face. Now she looks like a pissed off drug dealer that hasn't gotten her money from her buyers in 6-12 months.

3 RepliesMy smiling female titan with pink ponytails now looks like a transvestite who was a man, changed sex to a woman, got bashed in the face with a brick and suffers from PTSD. I haven't seen such a failure in graphics "upgrade" since WoW's "new character models".

My warlock and hunter look like men now. I hope they add a paper bag mask in next years festival of the lost, my characters will be needing it. My titan is the only one who looks the same and thats only because it's an Exo.

Totally agree, my female Awoken with a warm skin colour and loads of warmth around her, has turned into an extremely white pale little “boy” read somewhere that bungie would switch the characters to feminine and masculine. I thought that would just add more of it to the already existing female. I don’t want my women looking like a young kid.

If that was something I was going for, it wouldn't be a problem, but I picked what was the most masculine looking face I could find, because THAT is how I wanted my Titan to look. If Bungie is going to forcibly change our hair and faces, they should at least give us the opportunity to redo our appearance, at least once.

1 ReplyMy Titan is an Exo and the new oily looking carbon finish looks excellent. Happy with that. My Hunter used to look a bit like me, shaven head due to hair loss and a rugged face. Now he looks like a bald teenage girl with no eyebrows and eyes that are way too close together, he is one step away from being a boiled egg with teeth. And he is now apparently not white and now looks Mediterranean. My Warlock also looks like a bird, and not an attractive one. He looks like someone set his face on fire and put it out with a brick. And apparently the Awoken are now a slight shde of brown. It seems that the vast majority of people who want their characters to be either male or female, for this too has been removed from the character screen as a description, are now left with Guardians whose helmets will now stay on forever. Ridiculous.

My titan used to looked so epic. Now his face looks like david from Schitt’s Creek. I understand you wanted to make sure people could make guardians that includes all backgrounds but you should at least get us veterans a chance to redesign out guardians with the new options
