Pinnacle duplicate drops
Bungie.....i just did 4 pinnacles and have gotten 4 titan marks in a row......really? All i need is a helmet.

1 ReplyI jumped up from 1055 to 1059 in a week from good pinnacles. Now RNG is punishing me by giving me multiples of everything except the legs I need to hit 1060. Luckily it makes no difference with the seasonal artifact and the first piece of blue gear you find in BL will push you over 1060. I know it can feel irritating if you're a completionist or if you like round numbers, but I found levelling less stressful once I let go of the idea of reaching 1060. It occurred to me that nothing about the way I play Destiny will change if I do get to 1060 before BL.

Agreed. It's ridiculous. Opened 4 and got 3 energy weapons. Not even different ones... The same damn one! Be well.

3 RepliesYeah I just need a chest for my Titan and I can't get it for the past 2 weeks and what makes it worse is when I get dupe drops of the same slot. This type of rng kills my desire to play.

2 RepliesI got my Titan to 1060 and the grind for the last piece was so bad that my Hunter and Warlock will be staying at 1059. In all honesty, making 1060 is pretty much meaningless, especially with 5 weeks until reset when a new max power will kick in and the artifact providing so many power levels. I find myself more interested in grinding upgrade components and good roles on equipment/exotic armor and don't worry about the elusive 1060...

From my last 10 pinnacle drops on my Titan 7 have been energy weapons. That’s 2 weeks worth of pinnacles I’ve been able to do on that character. Such a waste of time

This happens all the time! I’m getting nothing but power weapons this week. Since D1, I hate leveling up cause you have to deal with Bungies garbage rng. It always gets stuck on an item type. Enough already! If You want players to engage in activities they would rather not play, then let them choose their pinnacle rewards.

4 RepliesI’m a warlock main. I only need a heavy pinnacle to drop, which is all I’ve needed to drop for about three weeks now. What I don’t need is boots and -blam!-ing gauntlets.... Can you guess what seems to repeatedly drop for me....?

5 Repliesdo people think that because they did a pinnacle activity RNG doesn't still apply? you're getting a piece of gear that is of a guaranteed level, not a specific slot.

Oh how I don’t miss that grind. Four weeks worth of being one piece away from 1060 was the magic number for me.

It's just another bullshit grind item they can put in the world loot pool to further dilute the good shit players are chasing. And while we are on the subject of bullshit loot. With sunsetting right around the corner, why the hell are there still items in the world loot pool with a 1060 power cap? I'm not talking about old rewards from old content. I mean engrams, strike rewards, reward packages, etc. Why?
