On pc; my game keeps crashing with the error "Problem reading game content please verify integrity of game files". It happened 3-4 times just today in around 2 hours, It's making the game unplayable, I know a bunch of people are having this problem and none of the fixes mentioned in those threads work for more than a few hours, every time it crashes with this error I have to remove every file in the Destiny 2 folder expect packages and verify the game which takes 15 minutes although my game is installed on SSD, this is super annoying.

5 RepliesHi there. You may want to verify the integrity of your game files in the Steam app to see if that helps with your issue. If that doesn't help, here are more suggestions that may help you:
1. Go to your Games library, right-click Destiny 2 and go to Properties. Click Local Files then Browse Local Files to open your Destiny 2 directory. Remove all files in this folder EXCEPT "Packages "then verify the integrity of Destiny 2 game files again. 2. Make sure that your HDD/SDD isn't full. 3. Update your drivers or do a fresh install 4. Some players have reported that changing the game language may resolve the issue. 5. Make sure everything in the D2 Steam folder isn’t set to read-only.
