Why is the artifact glitch still a thing!?
I'd name a couple of people that abuse this glitch/exploit, but I'm afraid I'll get banned from the forums. I play this game to get away from life, yet people make it so annoying to play. Being in a 6 stack in Iron Banner is one thing, but being in a 6 stack with all players abusing the glitch is ridiculous! This was a thing last season and was never patched! Too bad exploiting the game isn't considered cheating in the eyes of Bungie because there would be a lot of offenders gone... Let me know what you think. Be honest if you use this regularly.

I understand seeing one person have the glitch happen randomly, but how often does that happen 2 matches in a row? I was playing against a 6 stack and lost it was a close game. Being myself I wanted to play them again to get revenge, but since it was "soo close" they use this glitch to get an advantage... In a 6 stack, if you have to abuse this glitch you're ridiculous imo. I wish i could show screenshots, but you can't due to the forums rules. If you want screenshots of proof, you can go to my Destiny Tracker page and under matches it'll show my last 2 IB matches I played against the 6 stack. There was atleast 1 or 2 above 1060 the first game no biggy im use to it, but the second game all of them were.

2 RepliesI’m going to tell you the truth and you take it how you want to. Bungie dosent give a shit. They never have. The only time things are rapidly fixed is when there featured on one of the top destiny 2 man baby, crybaby streamers stream. Beyond that they don’t care. They nerf guns and armor based on the pc version, which is almost a different game in terms of load times, movement and control. To my knowledge and I might be wrong, I’ve watched one of their dev things where they announced a new season, and this was like a year or two ago before shadow keep.. and it looked like they had more than 20 employees. I might be wrong but the way this game releases content, fixes glitches and bugs it seems like they have 2 people actively working on the game at any given time. I myself have played a lot of this game and the superior game that came before. I’ve watched and tolerated a lot of shit bungies done, but I finally got burnt out after my 900th gambit match. It all clicked when I got that piece of shit bad omens rocket launcher for the 8000th time. I asked myself why am I playing this game? What’s it all for? Every season the LL goes up and this was around jokers wild and if I’m not mistaken ( might of been before or after ) they just bumped every one to 750 at the start of the next season, making my time invested worthless. Why play and grind when I can just sit out and come back and go up in light without playing? That and the nerfs to lunas howl rendering my time invested getting better at PVP worthless. Now I’m on the fence about not playing the game again, recently I helped my friends that are newish through the outbreak and the pit and I had fun teaching and showing stuff, but after they got off I found myself looking at the map screen and not wanting to go to any planet, or do anything because what’s the point? My gear is just gonna be pissed away and light capped, the armor I grinded for and invested materials in.. like they have a lot to work out before this game is actually enjoyable again. That’s my 2 cents. Don’t get your hopes up because Bungie will let you down time and time again. That’s all they can do anymore.

1 ReplyBecause trying to track down a glitch and fix it in a program this large is like trying to find a SPECIFIC needle....in haystack of needles. ...and then removing it without disturbing the other needles. Here's how hard working with a program this large and complicated can be. Josh Hamrick...who used to manage the Sandbox until about 18 months ago...wanted to nerf ONE particular healing perk that gave you back health if you were an Arc Hunter in your super (Arc Blade) in Destiny 1. He nerfed it....and it wasn't clear until the patch rolled out that in nerfing that ONE health perk....HE BROKE **EVERY** HEALTH REGENERATION PERK, TALENT, AND ABILITY in the game. Every. Single one. Whether they were a part of character abilities. Legenedary weapon perks, Armor perks or exotic perks. He. BROKE THEM ALL. Becuase they didn't realize until too late that ALL of them shared common coding in the program. So you literally couldn't change one of them, without changing ALL of them. ...and even when he realized what he'd done, they couldn'g go back and actually fix them without undoing the nerf. So we had to live with every health regen perk in the game working differently for the rest of Destiny 1s life.

Honestly, I feel like it doesn't really matter. I haven't played all season and just recently came back and played Iron Banner at 1009 Light level. While the 1080 light level guardians were a but beefier, I still made it to the top of the leaderboard the majority of games.

5 RepliesIt’s not a glitch you can intentionally do though. To this day, I have never seen anyone ever say how to do it, or anyone do I consistently. It’s a random glitch that sucks.

Good times I swear they recov'd or cheated for them flawless emblems. Deff a crew of ill-gotten gains players in the least as their skill bandwidth did not match their load out emblems and titles.

From what I heard, you can actually replicate it. It involves resetting your artifact but idk the rest.

1 ReplyIts not always purposely done though. Bungie has said that it can happen randomly. It would be almost impossible to determine if somebody was glitching it, or if it happened randomly.

2 RepliesThat glitch happened to me a few times while playing yesterday. I'm honestly not sure what I did to trigger it, or if it just happened randomly regardless of anything I did or didn't do. Is there some way of controlling it that I'm not aware of?

It's funny when there is a exploit/glitch that let's players get more loot chance for better stats it gets patched almost instantly power glitch which been in since they did power cap lock is perfectly fine

1 ReplyThe glitch is a problem, but it's very rare that it is the player's doing. Yes, they can perform the glitch, but it gets very expensive. I agree, it does need to be fixed, but don't blame the players. Also, good idea not naming players. There's no witch hunting allowed on here.

Yep I’ve had several games in IB so far w some dudes in there 1084 base power. I remember reading it was just a visual glitch but they were some tanky guardians lemme Tell ya
