Microsoft Account Hacked, lost access to it, want to disable Cross Save

I lost access to my old Microsoft account, and now I can't disable Cross Save at all, because it's one of the Cross Save accounts. I had sorta just added all my accounts just in case, even the one I didn't use, but I guess that was a mistake.

Bungie cannot forcibly de-link it. I would suggest contacting the plarform concerning recovering your xbl account. This will save you a lot of trouble and let you keep your current Bungie.net profile. If you are unable to gain access to your xbl account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile. If you're trying to set up cross-save, then your only option will be to create a new Bungie.net profile and then unlink/relink the accounts you actually want to that new Bungie.net profile. Just keep in mind that if you go with the new Bungie.net profile, you will lose access to the code-granted bonuses you've redeemed on Bungie.net because those are tied to your current Bungie.net profile. You can see what you'll lose here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/Codes

    • Bungie does not link or unlink accounts, only the account owner can do that. You need to log in on the other profile, then go to account settings and then to Accounts and Linking and click the red unlink button to remove the account from that profile. Then log out and log in to the correct Bungie profile and in the same Accounts and Linking section you can add the account you just unlinked from the other profile.
