The Rewards of Nightfall
I am Japanese.
I don't understand English, so I'm translating and posting on a translation site.
This is a double reward period for Nightfall, though.
Nightfall on high difficulty is
I think this amount of reward is fine by default.
What do you think?

3 RepliesI've felt this way since the double NF drop glitch a while ago. Master and grand master just dont feel rewarding enough considering they typically take 45-60 minutes or longer

If you get platinum and beat it it’s very rewarding, gotten plenty of exotic and golf balls recently.

GMs are dropping lots of loot. I'm pretty much full on shards and prisms on all characters, im now master working any exotics to keep them in the vault for future dismantle. The GM is pretty easy this week, i would recommend grinding that till reset lol.

Ran the 1050 on each character, first run on warlock got me 3 exotics and some shards. I think my titans run got an exotic maybe, and a few shards. The hunter run got me shards. Did one 1080 run, got a golf ball and shards. At my PL, I just didn’t want to subject myself to the 1080’s over and over, so I slammed my fingers in some car doors and called it a day.

3 RepliesThis double event is the first time I've ever actually grinded Nightfall: The Ordeal. While I would like this x2 to stay forever I understand that wouldn't be feasible. However, I do think that the rewards should be buffed to 1.5x, so maybe you have a 50% chance of getting double rewards or something along those lines.

The Master and Grand Master's Nightfall. I've been able to clear it with a high score and platinum rank every time. I posted this as I felt the amount of compensation was not commensurate with the amount of effort. (The nightfall to be tested is Corrupted and Festering Core. If it was, the current rewards are not enough to make it a challenge. Is it just me...) As a side note, the masterwork of armor is more than just weapons. I think the fact that it takes too much effort is also a problem.

Do the 1080 for best results. I've had golf balls etc building up in postermaster from a hand full of runs. Make sure to Kill ALL champions!

Agreed. Ill be running zero nightfalls the entire rest of the season. First thing in my mind will be whats the point knowing what we had this week?

This should be default levels of rewards. Completely agree. Felt like I got nothing prior to doing these with the double reward buff.

No. That would hurt the loot economy. Having double conversation and loot events serve to incentivize the play of those activities during the events and should not be permanent.

The base level of rewards should definitely be set to this bar for all nightfalls. This week, and also back when I think it was Prison of Elders that had double champions, have been the only times I've truly cared to repetitively grind through nightfalls for the materials and actually feel like it's worth it.
