Put the entire PvP in the vault. And seal it forever
It’s just not fun. Either you wait 10 min for a lobby which chills afk. Or you get 3 -blam!-ing blueberries against 2 unbroken and 2 flawless dudes. ALL PLAYERS WERE NOT IN A FIRETEAM. Just by chance they put 2 unbroken and 2 flawless dudes in one team. Against me and 3 blues. So 4 blueberries. LOL
Just vault the PvP. And concentrate on new pve content. Which should be more then a new Public event per season. BAAAAH.

I see you like to cheat, ironically being a huge reason as to why PvP sucks. Also, game kind of sucks without PvP. Just like Anthem. And I see there's a lot of people who were picked last in gym class complaining about PvP being "cancerous" while being cancerous themselves.

11 RepliesI wouldn't say remove it, but definitely don't put weapons in it to earn that are basically the best option to use in pve. That just doesn't make sence, ie Mountain top and recluse. I no there getting sunset but I hope they don't go down that road again. Yes I am shit at pvp, but I've soloed nightfalls and various other content so I can hold my own in pve. I just don't think it's fair to lock the best guns in the game behind pvp, imo.

Kinda agree. Really, really hate PvP those days. And hiding hella lot of gear behind it just makes it way worse. So .. yeah, better just outright remove it. And, as a pretty much casual player, I can not even emphasize enough how much I despise forced PvP for exotic catalyst, exotic weapons and some superior PvE gear. Destiny can be such a great game at times. But parts of it, that will always keep it a love-hate-relationship, will ensure that I can not talk in a goodwilling manner about it.

Because I main PvP in the first place because the PvE content is inconsistent in quality and has no real challenge outside of artificial difficulty. No thought or skill required for anything. Just Mountaintop, Anarchy, and Well/Bubble/Tether. If PvE was more engaging and offered a more detailed world and new enemy races, I wouldn't have to play PvP and pretend it had depth.

Completely ignoring the blatant cheating you’ve been doing since so many others have mentioned it No keep pvp but change how impactful to the game that it is In D1 the lord stated that the crucible was the training ground where guardians went to hone their skills to fight the darkness So instead of pvp having so much importance in its current state, change it so it ties in with the lore again. Scrap all current game modes Scrap all guns currently available Implement new game modes - Supers and abilities only Primary only Energy/secondary and heavy only All 3 gun slots only Weekly rotating gun class modes(hand cannon only, pulse only, etc) No quests involving pvp unless it has story value(looking at you lumina) Seasonal tournaments for bragging rights All guns and armor used in pvp will be standardized for everyone so nobody has a better roll or stat on their gear than anyone else This would stop the whining about metas. Freshen up the pvp experience for new and old players. Would make sandbox tuning infinitely easier to manage. Discourage cheaters and paid carries. Give more time to focus on better pve content Yeah yeah I suck at pvp. No I don’t care. Game was brought for pve and honestly I’m tired of the nerfs and whining

OK, I am crap at pvp, I quit games, afk, the lot. But I never used to. Even being crap my kd used to be mid. 9. Now it is under 8. I get 5 kills killed 15 times, why? Because, apparently I have to get better, while good players can simply farm crap players and improve their stats even more. Where is that fair, reasonable, good management, useful for all types of player. It just isn't, it's a kop out, and has ruined pvp for vast swathes of players like me who loved it, enjoyed the close fights and tried to learn, how am I supposed to learn when I get 5 lucky kills and a. Killed 15 times. The only thing I have learned is to leave pvp to the freaks who demanded the changes

An extremely and tedious grind system around bounties, a light level system that is quite deliberately an insult to my time investment since it is pretty much [b]useless.[/b] You get high light to do what with it exactly...? Barely any ingame lore or updates towards it. 2 years on and there is [i]STILL[/i] no Hunter Vanguard replacement. You may not enjoy PVP but let's not pretend the games native PVE/Story is at a pinnacle level.

I Looked at this post because I disagree'd about the narrative overall, and wondered about the opinions of others on this take. I now think the amount of up-votes are here to showcase that the Creator of the Post actually Win-Trades in Trials of Osiris (I see people stating that his whole clan do this as well, but I'm too lazy to do my research for that part, so don't assume unless proof is shown).
