A few weeks ago- I was hyped to go after my soltice gear to get it fully done since I missed it last year. Howver, being forced into Trials ruined the experience for me and thus, deleted my Soltice Gear.
Its a shame that players like me arent given an alternate choice. Instead of Trials- why not do 2100 comp score or 5 Garden of Salvation raids?
Why did Trials ruin my experience?
1. Matchmaking: 3 hours in Trials were against top tier players with many flawless seals/runs. Won 1 game and in the losses 95% were 5-0. I suggest a tier system because outside of Soltice players like me wont return to Trials.
2. Rewards: 7 wins would likely take me insane amount of hours. I cant cash in tokens since I didnt get 3 wins.
3. Pay to play: I’ll just call a spade a spade- If you want your flawless or your soltice gear you gotta pay for it.
Last note: I can speed run Garden of Salvation in under 1 hour and get 4 Pinnacle drops.

1 ReplyJust get the ornaments and call it good. Finish blue and get the ornaments from the store. Boom, finished. That's what I did. Took a couple hours only.

1 ReplyYou got rid of the gear because a cosmetic thing required Trials? Dude, its just a glow for the boots. It doesn't masterwork them, it doesn't increase stats, it doesn't do anything except add a little white glow. Hell, you can buy the universal ornament and get the glow that matches your subclass. You're over here trying to be salty about a damn cosmetic.....smh

5 RepliesYou're not forced to play Trials. You're choosing to play it for an optional objective.

6 Replies7 wins isn't that bad and there is no time limit to get it done. If it takes you just shy of 2 hours to complete a garden it might just be a you problem.
