Why should we fall for Solstice Of Heroes again? Why bother?
Those who worked hard in the past for its rewards had them become irrelevant nearly immediately, you refuse to make them ornaments, and you expect us all to go through this again knowing it’s just an event designed to sell eververse microtransactions and waste time?
Is any of this even going to be usable by the time the new DLC drops? And even if it is why bother if we are forced to play broken trials?
This all reeks of disrespect of the players time and an event that is simply defined as masochistic in the sense it’s already meant nothing before so what’s to stop it from immediately meaning nothing again?

I'm still SUPER bitter at how Bungie ripped us off last years solstice! I grinded out ALL 3 characters and got the glows. Then all worthless when armor 2.0 came out

2 Repliesthis is a end of destiny year celebration. but seems another way to get more money out of players. should be all free thanking the players for the year. but Bungie don't care about there customers only themselves and streamers. the enblem shader promotion with twitch shows that. lining the pockets of streamers which make enough money already and twitch owned by Amazon a very large company which dodges millions of UK taxes every year

1 ReplyI mean if you plan to do the event in its entirety, you'll be able to buy a Universal Ornament set for Dust or Silver. Unless they suddenly do away with the Universal Ornament system, it'll always be usable Not taking Bungie's side here, just giving the facts for people interested

15 RepliesWell I like the glowy armors I can easily get the bright dust needed in about 3-4 weeks from being completely empty And I got most of my god rolls and armor replacements for the season, so something new to do is certainly welcome
