Game Crashing on launch

I've made a post about this before, and it seems like several people have the same issue, but it seems like nobody has any solution for this and posted it online. The game crashes as soon as the character select screen comes up, instructing to verify the integrity of the game files. I have tried the following: -Removing all files except for "PACKAGES" and verifying the game files -Deleting steam_appid.txt -Using the "taskkill /IM destiny2.exe" -Changing languages back and forth -Deleting CVARS.xtml -Running the game in Administrator mode -Clearing steam's download cache and verifying the game files -Increasing the game's priority in task manager -Updating windows -Checking drivers are up to date -Completely reinstalling the game -Reinstalling steam on external drive -Running the game in windowed mode and reducing the resolution by manually editing CVARS.xtml -Scanning my external drive (no errors found) It should be noted that I use a laptop with integrated graphics (dxdiag below) as well as an external drive to play Destiny 2. I attempted to run the game on a similar laptop, also with integrated graphics, and had the same issue. The problem started around July 11th, I have 825 hours logged into the game since I started playing when it was released on Steam, and purchased Forsaken all while playing on this laptop. dxdiag - https://pastebin.com/Zj7cEe96 Event Viewer - https://pastebin.com/2Y1i0KJy Crash Info - https://pastebin.com/7mABbJR3

  • Following a random comment I stumbled on, I had my friend who also has Destiny 2 send me his "steam_api64.dll" and "steamnetworkingsockets.dll" files, which I replaced my own with. Doing this I was able to get slightly farther and select my character before the game crashed. I've seen dozens of different posts talking about this issue for almost a full month now, and yet there is still no solutions other than the same outdated fixes from over a year ago being copy-pasted in response despite none of them working. Is Bungie ever going to look into this? With Iron Banner coming soon it's extremely infuriating knowing that me and all the other people cursed with this issue are more than likely going to miss out.

Hey there’ It appears you are receiving the Windows error "AppHangB1". For the best experience, it is recommended that players update their drivers to their most recent versions, and accept any Windows updates that have yet to be applied before accessing Destiny 2 on PC. Here is some information which may help:
- Try disabling or not running any GPU utilities such as MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision - Setting Destiny 2 and Battle.net to "Run as Administrator" - Setting an exception to your antivirus and removing Windows Firewall - Reviewing this Battle.net article to keep your system in top performance - Here is an article which shows steps that might help you: https://appuals.com/apphangb1-error/ - You may also want to update your OS and drivers. - Here is a link to Google Search that may offer some solutions that you can find to potentially solve this issue: https://www.google.com/search?q=AppHangB1&rlz=1C1GCEU_enUS822US824&oq=AppHangB1&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i59j69i60j69i61l2j69i59.57100j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
