Even If I punch first I'm still going to lose the melee fight regardless because its slower.

JUST TAKE A GUESS...... A SHOTGUN MELEE U -blam!- MORON (fun fact also has a longer kill range). if u actually hit ur -blam!- shots you would know. also different charged melees have different "aim assist" and different interactions. so this stupid -blam!- decision not only ruined warlocks shotgun game. but now can longer cant stack ophidain range AND... STORMcaller melee + lag. stormcaller melee is the same program from d1. and it will snipe u around -blam!- boxes AND ( LITERALLY 180 THE USER). -blam!- morons. i cant even blame the op bungie agreed.

10 RepliesWarlocks are meant to be the PvE kings. In PvE content such as raids, warlocks are far more important than hunters. Hunters are essentially useless in PvE since the orpheus nerf. In PvP, however, it's switched. Hunters are great in PvP, Warlocks are pretty bad except for top tree dawnblade but that's one skill tree in one subclass.

Yeah that warlock range buff only would work if the range would make up for titans and hunters speed . So it needs to be at the handheld nova range to be somewhere near a buff .

14 RepliesSo according to official numbers, guardian melees reach 6 METRES. 6 METRES. That's 36 feet! That's the length of 6 guardians lied down. Confirmed on twitter by dmg virtue signal bot. Do they even play the game? Melee range is like 1 metre, not 6.

1 ReplyDon’t forget that they removed the extra range on storm caller and Nova Warp because of this. Not to mention hunters and titans have exotics and subclass perks that make their melee have MORE range than a warlock wearing ophidian aspects!

I'm not sure if you guys play the game or not but 1m in destiny is 1 step forward or backwards . I am a warlock main .I am not too sure you people can warlock properly .it has the most rediculouse range melee abilities in the game ..go and practice and do some home work in private games because those complaining are clueless and are a part of a problem to an unneeded solution

Hunters are the ones that really need their stock melee to be buffed, I could load the tower between melees (console :C)

We get pulled towards the enemy from 1 metre further away..yet they can still get 2 melees off before we land our 2nd..it helps them not us..should be the same speed so all claases are equal. Or make it like d1 again..but many didnt like that

Warlock's are signed for versatility, not power like the other two. The extra range allows for better cleanups, ie allows for more versatile close range weapon use.
