Laggy players, terrible cue times, absolutely horrible team balancing... I'm not sure how any of this is supposed to be "fun".

Edited by michael: 6/27/2020 5:54:43 PMForsaken pvp was way better than anything in year 3. Aside of course from uncounterable supers and OEM.

The youtubers are complaining that their videos where they’re testing out guns are skewed because they’re blowing up scrubs. My playtime has dropped about 75%. Looking at getting back into the AC franchise. Bungie is burying their playerbase...

4 RepliesThe only way to get SBMM back is to have your voice heard. Make post on the forum asking for sbmm back. Like all the post that want it back. And stop playing crucible. And tell your friends and have them spread the word. Don't play crucible, Show Bungie how we feel. Boycott crucible tell your friends If you want your pinnacle rewards go play elimination or comp, let the sweats play each other this season. Ps. If I don't respond to you, that means your not worth my time or effort.

2 RepliesI really don't know how many times I've got to say this, but the word is spelled queue. Not cue. Not que. Not q. It's queue.

2 RepliesCBMM is terrible we need SBMM back.

2 RepliesBro, Forsaken was my favorite era for pvp. I loved it so much.
-
It is only going to get worst, as long as CBMM is in the game it will fail. We need a choice SBMM or CBMM.
-
5 RepliesIf you are getting laggy matches in connection based match-making, then what does that tell you?
-
Just played lockdown and got 40 kills lmfaooo

At least when forsaken came out and up to around 6-7 months after the pvp player base was pretty big. Cbmm back then worked well. The player base now is not even one tenth what it was back then. Cbmm right now is a horrible choice. Queue times are only a tiny little bit faster, lag is just as bad, I'm still getting into matches constantly with people from every corner of the globe blinking, teleporting, taking no damage and lagging the match up to high heaven.

Laggy players, terrible cue times, absolutely horrible team balancing... I'm not sure how any of this is supposed to be "fun".
Then your internet is the issue. Since it’s connection based it’s finding other like yourself. And it’s funny you say Forsaken when it was one of the highest played PvP eras along with Warmind. Both of which had SBMM turned off. PvP is actually fun again.

Lag and cue seem to be improved for me but at the expense of lower-skill players getting stomped into a mudhole. Overall I'm doing a bit better than with SBMM but it just feels kind of gross beating up on newbies. Also, the matches tend to be VERY lopsided. It's either win by a lot or lose by a lot typically.

I'll test it out when I get home, in the meantime....look at muh loot😏

Edited by Ghostfire239: 6/26/2020 11:14:30 PMI don’t know about you but my queue times have been 2mins at most. SBMM is used to take around 5-8mins. Literally had enough time to make a sandwich finish eating it before it would start. Lobbies have much more variety in terms of players, some matches had good players, some had bad, most average players. As Quickplay should be. The only people that really get the short end of the straw with CBMM are bad players, since they will get stomped by average and high skill players. You want to play against people around your skill level? Great, there’s a playlist that is all about that, it’s called comp. Enjoy.

It's the best it has been in a long time. Lag is almost non existent.
-
It’s been a while in destiny since I’ve had this little lag.
-
The lag was horrendous last night, I swear I was matching with foreigners my last 3 matches of the night. I'm 100 down and 10 up. So it ain't my connection. 😏
-
...no it's not. Played nearly every day now. Zero issues.

5 RepliesFunny how it’s the opposite for most everyone else

Laggy players, terrible cue times, absolutely horrible team balancing... I'm not sure how any of this is supposed to be "fun".
Then your internet is garbage. Because CBMM matches you with similar connections. Queue times have never been better here and no lag issues other than the occasional lagger every 10 games or so. And lobby balancing or team balancing is in fact still a form of SBMM and it’s always been broken. Even when SBMM was here. It still screwed over entire teams. Putting the better players all on one team. So try blaming CBMM another way....lol

12 RepliesI’ve only experienced shorter q times less lag and better matches. All my games are usually pretty close. It’s been a blast
