I'm trying to keep an open mind and glad you are trying something new, but I'm not sure who you listen to about pvp decisions. Don't you cater to the top players in trials enough? They get their easy wins. People are always going to complain about matchmaking. Seriously you could train a monkey to choose a or b and he would prolly make better decisions than the current PVP team. You want some player feedback, how about more solo queues rather than putting solo players against a bunch of lagging teams every single match? Here is some more advice maybe get some feedback from a range of player that actually play the game?

6 RepliesIt seems to me, that maybe ya’ll should have put in both options in crucible- SBMM and CBMM for every PVP game type and see which ones get played more. To just remove SBMM from almost every PVP game type is going to be very painful for a lot of guardians, especially solo players and casual players. I am very glad that I have not pre-purchased the fall expansion as I normally would have by now.

If Crucible is so great without SBMM, y’all can play it. Prepare for Crucible numbers to plummet again just like before. I went into Classic Mix once in the last year and what a s***fest. Facing a 6-stack of hunters with full meta farming kills is the opposite of fun. The only thing consistent in Destiny 2 is Bungie inconsistency.

Sure, it’s something I’ll probably get used to, but if you guys keep making decisions like this, you’re going to start driving away even the most dedicated of players.

2 RepliesThe only people that want you to get rid of sbmm were top tier pvp player. The rest of us are not as loud, but we appreciate not getting stomped every game. Who makes these decisions? This i's so obvious. You screwed the majority to keep the YouTubers happy. So disappointing. Not only that, you did this after I paid for the expansion. I'm having some buyer's remorse.

You listened to the streamers and sweats that make videos about having to play against other sweats (you know, people on their level). Now you're going to be swamped by backlash from the VAST majority of players who enjoyed NOT getting matched against Timmy tryhards in freaking Control.

This is compounded by what I have observed in the last 6 matches in Crucible. IT IS WORSE THAN BEFORE, especially with the Witherhoard Catalyst that requires 100 Guardian Kills. The button re-mapping WAS NOT NEEDED to begin with. Now It is just a clumsy and unenjoyable experience at best. Effectively, players cannot utilise their fluidity that is required BY BUNGIE'S DESIGN in game. The experience is even more frustrating because the mechanics simply WILL NOT ALLOW THE PLAYER TO EXECUTE WHAT YOU HAVE INTENDED GUARDIANS TO DO. So much for the expert you hired to make it a better experience. So far, the rating on this season is worse than last season, and I had hopes that the worst was over. At least last season I could run, jump and ADS on/off etc. Now I cannot do so, as even ADS HOLD on controller requires A LOT OF STRENGTH AND IT CANCELS ITSELF TOO. I am unimpressed to say the least.
