Can't dismantle umbral engrams
Trying to complete "In The Face of Darkness" quest and am unable to proceed because I have maxed out my engram inventory with umbral engrams. I can not decode them until I have received the next step from Drifter which involves him rewarding me with another umbral engram. Please make patch to allow us to dismantle umbral engrams freely.

This is such an impressively stupid problem, my dad ran into this too and I was just dumbfounded by it. Lol

10 RepliesI appreciate you reporting this issue to us. We're aware that it's occurring and we're investigating. You can work around this by using a second character, claiming the quest from the Drifter, completing it, then logging back into this character.

Just grant us the ability to destroy engrams in the inventory

Same issue here. I did the Contact public event in hopes of unlocking the ability to clear out some Umbral Engrams, but I cannot complete the quest since the Drifter is looking to give me another engram as a reward before proceeding. I can't pick up any new engrams and now I'm stuck.

I'm also having that problem. I am also having a problem of being unable to skip the new light quest after already playing for awhile on an old character. Please fix these issues I cannot pick up the engram from any quest because my inventory is full and I cannot get access to the umbral engram decoder because I cannot pick up the free one the drifter gives you.
