Just wondering if we'd ever get the chance to explore the traveler itself. It seems like it would be big enough for some type of mission in a later season or something. Just a thought, not sure if this was the right place to post this though.

Past: was fun, had a good time Present: uninstalling after having a good break and coming back to realise nothing has really changed, other than you're flogging a dead horse... Future: there isn't one for D2, or Bungie if you keep going down this path...
-
Funny how another games developer recently shrunk the size of their game which was over 100gb and bigger than D2. They did this not only to make it easier on themselves when updating and releasing new content, but also to make it a better experience on console. No content was taken out when this happened. The game simply went from over 100gb to just over 60gb on the hard drive. Everything is still the same, any and all content you have paid for has not disappeared. How can it be ok to remove content that a large portion of the player base has paid for and replace it with less?

Seems like all this talk of the future is to keep people from going free to play, bailing on the game in general, or trying to get people to forget about how bad this past year was and how small the amount of content is starting to look like this season....I mean everything listed can be spread out 1 season of content a year for a few years. You all already stated that was the model going forward and it isn't going to change. And if that's the case it's looking like the fall update is the only worthwhile season to purchase. I'm regretting the fact I pre-ordered last year's content with the season pass. I could have saved money by just buying the initial shadowkeep season. I mean people seem to forget how it was hyped to be such an amazing season but ended up being worse than curse of Osiris.... I'm definitely not going to preorder next year

9 RepliesEdited by mja calg: 6/10/2020 8:41:52 PMSo the future is more Broken untested crap pooped out the door until 2025 when Matter is released and Lukey "Throw your Silver at my Screen" Smithy wraps up Destiny 2? Right now we have broken Sprint on Controllers (no one asked for that crap), my 1019 Titan getting 750 Engrams for completing Drifter Tasks (including Penumbral engrams) and a multitude of crashes and freezes after Cut Scenes on Xbox One. That's my Present. Edit: The past speaks for itself as lackluster development effort, complete loss of Quality Control, double speak and lying to stretch thin content even thinner and recycling anything you can find from D1 into D2 and calling it "New" or "Refreshed".

Spawn kills galore cause maps trash

Every season starts out negative. Sunsetting Constant nerfs Recycled content Boring activities Load lag issues Weapon imbalance Poor matchmaking The story telling here is great. However, it always seems lost in the mix of bad design and direction of the game.

I was happy when D1 raids were revamped in D1, but after I did them a few times, it was just adding to my totals, and got old quick, and the nostalgia only lasted to get the adept weapons really. I can see that this will be great for new players, as they have not played them. Older players will continue to leave, new players will enjoy the new (old) content, but most likely leave at some point also. It just seems that Bungie cant make any new content, and it's easier to recycle, and that's fine, but I dont think that's what this game was originally conceived to be.

Love the direction Destiny is going. Please add a random exotic mode/option for strikes/crucible/gambit. I have so many that I don't use or try out this would be a fun way to get to know the other exotics better.

A clannie recieved 10 umbi engrams and now can't take the one from the drifter and cannot delete any of the 10 he already has, any thoughts?

Gambit needs some love ! 3 games in two days and flown in with 3 man squad. It’s glitch’s regularly and I get booted often . Seems to be getting worse each update . The drifter is a big part of this season and gambit is just frustrating to play .

2 RepliesScrap the light level keep us at level 30 maxed and each season just add more armour and weapons for us to chase for

1 ReplyWhat I don't understand is why you all can't leave D1 stuff in D1? Why keep bringing old D1 stuff in D2? If people want to play D1 so badly then they can. The servers are still up. A sequel is supposed to build from it's predecessor, not be a copy and paste. Bringing a couple of novelty weapons is one thing but for nearly 4 years you all have been copy and pasting. I daresay you all are better at it than any COD or sports game I've ever seen and that is pathetic.

Recycled content, ANYONE? Did you all catch that, they will be introducing content form D1 and past years od D@ while cycling out content from Y1-Y3 D2 to make room. Exactly what will happen when a new player drops in and there is no red war to introduce them to the game?, straight to mars, mercury or who knows where. Talk about discontinuity in the story! Great job Bungie.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases a few days before next major expansion. Bungiee better lift it's game, a revamped vog isn't gonna cut it. What was special about the og vault was that loot mattered and it had that -blam!- yeah feeling of getting that drop
-
2 RepliesHere's a great idea regarding the vaulting of old content to make way for new content: Do what 343 Industries have done with Halo: The Master Chief Collection and give players the option of what content to have installed and what not to have installed. For example I'm more of a PvP player and am unlikely to buy the new season since it adds nothing to PvP for me, so having the season installed is a waste of my storage. But if I could choose to not have the seasonal activities installed then that would be great storage wise.

Credit where credit is due Bungie this season has been fantastic so far! I've really been enjoying the whole mysterious vibe and the revamped loot system. And while I still have my gripes with the new direction (I really wish you'd reconsider weapon sunsetting and REALLY REALLY wish you would not implement ARMOR sunsetting!) But overall I love the new direction that you are looking to take.
