Hello, Based Department?
EDIT: There are other means of enforcing laws. We don't know which one Minneapolis plans to do yet. We'll wait to see if this is an action taken too early to work or an example for the future.
EDIT 2: Made sure, the only thing that I can find is that they plan to use "Community Based Safety Programs"

2 RepliesThey are dispensing to recreate the police force not abolish it, poor way to use the term abolish, abolish means to get rid of, they are simply disbanding to get better police in or to cull the currently racist ones Good clickbait tho

Just make sure you guys clean the carpet when you’re done in here.

2 RepliesEdited by RollTide2235: 6/9/2020 5:36:28 AMThe lady at the rally/protest told Mayor Frey...”we don’t want no mo police.” I say grant her and those peoples wish, if that’s what the majority of that city wants, and lets see how that plan works for them lol. I have a feeling most of those people will end up being very similar to people that I’ve help take care of during my time as an ER nurse. You know, the kind of people that after they enter the ER say...”I sure do hate doctors and hospitals”. Yep you say you do but you damn sure don’t mind coming here when you need us. I bet the lady doing all the talking will be the first one calling 911 when a crime is committed against her after there ain’t “no mo police”.

Let anarchy reign then. As it's supposed to. People parade around these laws but, in reality? We're all just animals. It's time we start acting like it.

3 RepliesI give them an hour until they descend into lawlessness without the police.

911: What's your emergency? Caller: My kid's gone missing.. Please help me! 911: Ok, try to relax.. The fire dept are aware and will be with you as soon as possible.

This is quite possibly the worst decision they could have made moving forward but I understand it...sensibility seems to be lacking in my home city. Why not just fire the cop who had [i]nineteen[/i] code of conduct violations filed and somehow still kept his job? [spoiler]Sorry, all out of salt.[/spoiler]

9 RepliesWhat a fantastic idea that won’t at all backfire and cause more and more crime because no one can stop the criminals

1 ReplyCriminals: it’s free real estate.

Yes, great idea, why didn't more people think of that. Or.....and this might sound a bit weird....make the police acountable for their actions, they are still a needed part of society but the law should apply to them as well. Nah, too much effort, abolishing is cheaper.
