Another homerun, Bungie!
You guys are on fire.
You guys should do a Masterclass on story telling so other devs can catch up to your level!
Or at least slow down and give other games a chance...
*Edit: Guys. Guys. Holy crap. I know times are tough, but sometimes it’s okay to roast things. I’m not whining/crying/raging or whatever else you’re imagining. I’m just having a little fun at Bungie’s expense. Some of you are acting like I insulted your mother.
This season sucked and needed to go out on a high note, and it’s disappointing to me that we’re likely to only get a cutscene before next season. The Almighty story beat could have just been a web comic, to be honest.

40 RepliesMy biggest complaint is how Bungie can't grasp basic orbital physics. The Almighty follows the sun through the sky when looking from the Tower, but it wouldn't because it's close enough to be just outside of our atmosphere (it is not near the sun anymore so wouldn't follow the same orbital patterns). It would be in a 'fixed' position in space but getting closer and closer to Earth. The Earth would rotate making it 'rise and set' like a moon as a seperate entity, and it'd definitely be seperate from the sun's movement through the sky. It would definitely be seen from the EDZ too throughout Earth rotations, and in theory visible from the Moon. I know. Its a proper nerd complaint but I don't care. It annoys me.

1 ReplyAnd we thought the boss swap in vex offensive was a poor way to end a season. Worthy makes Undying look like a great, content filled season.

131 RepliesYou should move on to other games and forums.

2 RepliesEdited by Demon_XXVII: 6/3/2020 3:07:06 PMNext weeks big reveal A text box saying: “Rasputin successfully shot down the Almighty, honestly it happened, it was visually stunning, the audio was epic, your ghost tried to alert you with an ‘eyes up Guardian’ but he then ran away scared & you didn’t wake up ....nonetheless, good work Guardians"

9 RepliesNot a single word about next season lol. You can already tell this coming season is going to be trash

5 RepliesYep, didn't you hear? This is Luke Smith's dream of "had to be there" moments... please prepare to throw your money at the screen..... there is another Rolex that needs buying....

34 RepliesStill laughing at people getting hyped over this game; It's dead.

They’re putting work into the traveller to make it more impressive. It’s because next season they’re removing the traveller altogether. It will be a silver-only skybox ornament at Eververse.

Imagine expecting more than a gun and a game mode with a season pass.. 10 bucks my guy. Guess what you've wasted more money on plenty of stupid things. Stop acting out. #noonecares

I like how the streamers are getting all hyped up over the lack of anything, because of course it must mean something big and that next season and the fall expansion are going to rock. Personally I am going for the view they need to build hype and when next seasons ball throwing public event drops the players are going to facepalm and lose any interest in the fact that apparently Eris and the Drifter are off to do something on a big snowball in September. Then again I am sure a large white planet is going to do down well right now. Are they waiting until an hour before release so they can make a quick dash to the airport ??

Edited by COMBATICUS: 6/4/2020 6:45:05 AMTheir cut-scenes are like teaser trailers lol. They are all the same, they cant make a decent trailer/cut-scene. Yes they look awesome but that's it..

44 RepliesI'm glad all those people did all those towers... shoo we dodged a close one.
I still have no clue what the destiny story is about all these years later 😂🤣
Edited by AppleSoda: 6/4/2020 12:06:38 AMYou can overdo suspense. Bungie have created a large amount of question marks in the story this season but because we already know the end result
The Almighty will get destroyed and we all know it
the journey simply isn’t as fun, especially when there are three weeks in a row of absolutely nothing in the game. I expected a conclusion at reset and my disappointment was immeasurable. We can’t just have one of the worst seasons ever and then Bungie acts coy and holds their cards close to their chest. It is more infuriating than exciting but I get what they were trying for.

Edited by Corrick II: 6/3/2020 2:01:17 PMSeriously though, is this really it? Is Bungie dropping an update later this week to finish the Almighty storyline or are they really just going to slouch into next season with no conclusion to THIS one? I mean it’s cool and all to have cutscenes and the Almighty in the skybox but in general this is TERRIBLE narrative execution.

1 ReplyPlot twist, we find out a week later that the shadow in the sun is a satellite and rasputin shot down the almighty immediately after ana bray and zavala left. The whole seraph bit was us doing his chores

2 RepliesAll u need now is a datto video saying we have a fantastic season coming

Season of worthy was a waste of money. I didn't buy it. Race my way only playing crucible. Bungie are getting top tier lazy. Bringing back old sh!t from vanilla God damm. Crucible loot is awful.

Funny but true. Who else is hyped for the tower change?? Can’t wait to lower my field of view!! Wait, that’s it?

Am i really going to have to listen to this intense music in the tower all week when im trying to do my chores?
