With the nerf to reload perks Feeding Frenzy would feel balanced on Redrix. No one really uses high Impact frames anyways. How often do you see them?

Edited by Frèák: 6/2/2020 3:50:49 AMFeeding Frenzy is getting Nerfed worse than outlaw. Honestly you’ll barely notice it ( if all)the speed reduction outlaw is getting. But Rapid hit and FF are getting a much larger change. Besides High Impact pulses are getting a buff next season to be made more forgiving and Redrix is getting SunSetted eventually anyway.
-
It wont matter soon with sunsetting and reload changes (they are trying to make them all the same so players dont ignore underused perks)
-
Before we suggest buffing it we should probably wait for the blanket buff all High-Impacts are receiving to come through. (Where they go from 6c to 5c1b) People are already theorizing that Redrix's will become one of the most competitive weapons in the game after it.
-
Or rapid hit
-
4 RepliesYes buff it. Everytime I'm killed using it, I think about the .67ttk and why it's not working for me. If you like to strafe and hate sitting still just to get owned, leave this thing in the vault.
-
They should buff Claymore, but not Broadsword.
-
Redrix has a base reload stat of 44. Outlaw currently boosts that to 100. After the update, Outlaw will boost it to 98.

Tell me, did you have a problem with Recluse? I didn't, but this would make a monster. I would definitely use it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it got nerfed. The real reason why almost no one uses high impact pulse rifles is range. Right now, it kills in a minimum of 2 bursts if every shot hit the head, but you'll need another shot a few meters further. The other guy who is most likely using a weapon like Bygones requires 3 bursts, but he shoots faster and needs I think 7 bullets minimum, or a weapon like Blast Furnace who can kill in 2 bursts, but needs 7 head shots on anyone with more than 30 resilience. Range is more forgiving for other pulse rifles. Now let's add in the minor buff these weapons are getting, the buff to body shot damage, allowing a kill in 5 crits 1 body on anyone with I think less than 70 resilience. Desperado increases it's RPM by 200, roughly 60% faster. This would do what bungie doesn't want and make a pinnacle weapon better than almost everything else in it's class, or the archetype at least.
-
1 ReplyRedrix will never feel like a true Pinnacle PvP weapon unless they make Desperado Proc on -Kill- Or Extend the Perk's duration by a few more seconds They want you to score Crit Kills with that SlowMotion rate of fire? when going up against Weapons with Consistent .6/.7 TTK values, that can Peak in & out of cover, yeah ok good luck with that, and even you get the Kill most of the time there's no1 around to use it on😴 Hard pass the Upcoming buff is supposed to make the Time to Kill more forgiving, but Desperado is still flawed and needs to be reworked
-
Nah. Redrix is one of the few guns that truly rewards good aim, I'm not a fan of making it easier to use.
-
Pulse rifles need a tune on the range drop off. Auto rifles shouldn't beat them at 40m.
-
This suggestion is actually very old, I remember it coming up. But a world where Redrix is good doesn't seem to be a desire for Bungie, so what can you do? "Play our way"
-
3 RepliesI understand the nerf but I feel it shouldn't have feeding frenzy. In my opinion it'll out perform the other high impact pulse rifles. Being required to get headshots to active the perk is balanced.
-
One of my friends is staying up til 2 AM tonight to get the entire quest done before the end of the season
-
This gun has been sitting in the vault of many people and now with sunsetting will never see the sunlight. It accumulated dust and took space vault thats all it was good for. I had it with my old ps4. (I started a new account before cross save was announced)
-
1 ReplyIt’s complete garbage. My Jian 7 murders everything.
-
Wouldn’t outlaw be better since it’s a high impact which requires consistent crit shots to be effective?
-
3 RepliesNot bad. One day I’ll actually decide to finish that quest. Never feel comfortable using pulses in PvP so I’ve had that one waiting to complete for a while. Only thing I’m missing is the kills portion as I’ve already taken care of most of the rest of the quest. Maybe if I get bored some random weekend in July. Maybe.
-
I'm pretty sure this archetype is about to be buffed. I know I can't wait. 😇
-
1 ReplyRedrix is always on my loadout.
-
Was literally about to post this
-
3 RepliesI have over 2k pvp kills on my redrix and i love the idea but it might make it broken in pvp. Careful what you ask for.
-
I’d prefer rapid hit.
