Then you want to reissue new ones, the same damn ones, and make me grind for them again when I already have them now. It would be different if we we getting NEW weapons but this is just redundant. You are sunsetting all but 2 of our legendary swords too? Out of 21 including our character specific swords? 3664 legendary items getting sunsetted. This is going to sunset alot of players

1 ReplyThis is literally getting painful to watch now. . So a new season of nerfs. . Weapon retirement . Minor buffs to weapons that people don't like that won't help. (10% pve Vs minors is not going to help bows in endgame. At all.) You want to play into meta weapons and use usage stats as nerf aim.. I really hope you don't need it explaining why that's not a good mix. You also really need to stop trying to balance your game by making everything equally bad

Bungie “claims” to be listening to feedback, but the only time they “claim” to attempt to make positive change is when numbers truly drop. The only voice they will never listen to is to STOP PLAYING. Last year is a totally failure and they should be held accountable. Doesn’t matter the amount we payed, at the end of the day it still a “product” we payed for and have every right to complain (respectfully) and demand better. They no longer answer to Activision, but need to answer to their customers, or will not have customers. Business 101. We are in new territory with game existing longer than D1. But, truly believe they want it to fail so they can move on to something new.

2 RepliesI’m starting to wonder if you want this game to die. Let’s be honest, sunsetting isn’t about power creep. If you were concerned about that, then it’s the exotics that would be in danger, not the 3 pinnacle weapons that see lots of use. What you really want to do is re introduce gear we already have as “new” later down the line. And the perk changes? Pulse monitor and dynamic sway reduction will continue to be bad for almost everything. The reload and damage perks are what people hunt for because it’s straightforward and effective. And you guys really need to stop putting perks on the wrong guns. Hip fire on a sniper? Outlaw on toil and trouble? Aerial assault in one column and firmly planted in another? Half the problem is that good perk combos are hard to get because of the layers of RNG we have to fight with. Come year 4, I’m not going to chase god rolls, and I’m probably not touching IB. And I’m not going to get back into doing raids. You don’t respect our time. I’m not sure I’m going to be buying the expansion. But go ahead, prove that you learned nothing from D1. Kill off a ton of activities. Levi raids? Don’t bother. Forges? Don’t bother. Scourge? Don’t bother. Menagerie? Don’t bother. Nightfall loot? Don’t bother. Old pinnacle/ritual quests? Don’t bother. Remember how in seasons 1 and 2 that this game nearly died because of how shallow it was, how little there was to do? You’re going back to that point.

I would like to pass my gratitude to Bungie management. They made me quit my addiction some time ago and now they are giving us great entertainment material every week within the TWAB's they release. This way we can enjoy our time during this epidemic days. Way to go Luke....

We all agree that fast reloads are favorably consistent in hunting for guns. We've been trying to optimize for fast reload times ever since the start. Either bypassing reloads entirely and or just have fast reloading. This wouldn't be as big of an issue (for myself at least) if you guys would balance the affinity costs of the mods. The cost of these mods are higher based off popularity. Normal versions for Primary weapons - 1 > Auto Rifle > Pulse Rifle > Scout Rifle > Sidearm - 2 > SMG > Bow - 3 > Hand Cannon I find the Normal versions to be too slow for the cost and the Enhanced versions too expensive for building around. Why aren't the reload mod costs all the same across the board? If the mods themselves aren't balanced then everyone is just going to stick with reload perks for guns
