Guardian Games should have introduced class specific weapons
I’m not saying they had to be the same ones from D1. New ones would have been cool.

2 RepliesHorrible idea. All I wanted was to use my Tlaloc on any other class but my warlock, and I couldn’t. Locking items/weapons behind classes was the worst idea in D1 and would only get worse in D2 and beyond. How no one realizes this stuff is beyond me.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda. Another missed opportunity to make the game or specifically Guardian Games more fun to play. Nope. Get your LMG, take it for a spin and then let it rot in the vault. This F2P game is exactly that nowadays. Minimalistic.

Sparrow racing. 3v3 or 6v6 horde modes who kills all the minions of the darkness the fastest and downs the boss at the end. This could of took place on the EAZ and forest. Resources already in the game besides sparrow racing.

6 RepliesThat would have been an interesting idea. Similar to the rewards for faction rallies in Y1. However if you re-released the D1 weapons then a lot of folks would complain of "Lazy Bungo" If they released new weapons and one was OP while the others were "Meh" then you would have cries of "Bungo prejudice." So while I do think it would have been a neat idea, the saltmines would be running 24/7 on the forums.

I gave up on this company as far as improving the rewords. If after 6 years of working on both games and they don't know how to create at list a little incentive when creating events like this, there is no hope for them. So, I just play what works for me and stopped hoping they will ever really learn. To bad the devs that knew how to create that incentive in the first destiny are not working on this one.

We have class specific swords. I think exotic class items should have been added, a special perk of some sort that's different for each class.

Quite frankly they COULDN'T be the same ones from D1, seeing as Ace of Spades is already in the game, and available for everyone. Tlaloc and Fabian Strategy would be nice to have back, though.

It should have had event loot full stop but we got an event with competition in mind only to have triumphs that would naturally incentivise people who want the only bit of loot in the event to play any and all characters Willy nilly. Pointless participation event for a weapon going in cues loot pool in 1 week. No I wasn’t surprised at how bland event was more disappointment at contradictories in nature of event

2 RepliesI'm usually for this kind of shit but....no. Every time it is a uneven , miscalculated and shortsighted mistake, where one or two classes gets usually shafted by one or two other classes getting a superior weapon/weapons that clearly all the work went into and cause they are locked out the other classes feel unfairly ignored, whether or not it is the truth. Its about the only smart decision they made with guardian games.
