Cause Let’s just say getting killed by astral/mindbenders for the 15th million time is ridiculous with it’s one shot kill range and being too easy to use. Change the spread, make it inconsistent. I don’t care. Nerf it to the ground.

1 ReplyShotguns need to have a drawback, an archetype limit to balance their instant and consistent lethality. Typically, not just in Destiny, they might have slow or very slow handling, wide pellet spread, and minimal range. With MB, Astral and Felwinters and the right perks you re overwriting all the drawbacks. That's why they're so overused. Nerfing into the ground is not desirable but getting on top this and not making things worse (Astral) and worse (Felwinters) most definitely is.

It keep feeding the shot-gunners, snipers, Fusion especially if the are high skilled. So basically ammo drop just make better skilled players have more advantage and destroying many guns, gear because Bungie will nerf it...make lower skilled player lost tool to fight back or have kill. And it's make some exotic armour seems op like antaeus wards. Antaeus wards just a meh Exotic without shotgun. If Shotgun without unlimited ammo...that exotic leg will be just fine/meh. D2 Telesto would never need to be nerfed if no ammo drop. In Balanced PVP everyone should have the same amount ammo. So high skilled player will never have unlimited ammo. They still have more kills per ammo. Bungie should make more gun like Revoker. It is a good gun...that balance the skill. High skilled player will land all the shot..they lose the ammo and get some kills. Low skilled miss some..they can wait to get it back..or just land bodyshot..no kill.

It almost seems like their range nerf was removed. Over the last few months I've seen way more shotguns and I've been getting mapped by them. For a while they seemed fine after the nerf. Now though it's like their range is back up by a few meters like it was several months ago.
