Has anyone had their Watercress/Newt fixed?
I've seen the part of Bungie's stock response is to say something is being done to manually fix accounts with the Watercress/Newt errors while a more permanent solution is devised.
Is there any proof of this actually being done or just empty words. I've had this problem for 6 weeks and have been on here complaining a few times. If any fixes were being done why is no one reporting a saved account.

Hear ya. I been playin since Day1 and this whole not my choice stop on Destiny is finally pushing me over to other games and shit if this whole thing ends in us losing our Accounts.... Our characters after yeeears of grindin. I'm for 1 for SURE not starting over.

1 ReplyNope, I can't even load a character at this point. Then if I load, do I spend that "one activity" going to visit eva in the tower to start guardian games that I may not even get to play? Bungie has shown little to no care about this issue whatsoever. Just a little blurb that it's known and being worked on. They make sure to say it's only a small amount of xbox accounts experiencing it, therefore justifying their inadequate response! It's unacceptable to have this going on for over a month, especially when people are stuck home! Resources need to be shifted and progress as well as updating us needs to happen immediately!

1 ReplyThey have a solution and that's for you to okay on another platform via crosssave, however you'll have to repurchase the dlcs. That response is utter bs and a push for more money, they wont be getting anymore from me anytime soon or in the near future for that matter.

1 Reply4 to 5 weeks now for me running out of things to say about watercress problem, but I will keep sending posts out because that's what we all need to do don't let them off with this, I understand what is going on in the world but bungie update from yesterday seeing emblems that track your kill count that's to hard to swallow when people have problems with watercress or newt. Bungie I think it's time for a fix now

I’m guessing they have a bunch of charts and graphs to determine how many people are getting the error vs profit loss and the threshold to force them to fix it hasn’t peaked. I’ve said all along the only way it’s getting fixed is if the bulk of the community becomes affected. It’s actually laughable that they needed us to formulate a list on the forums and as devs they are unable get that info on their end. I mean they can tell me that hardlight is the most used weapon but don’t know how many people are getting watercress? It’s because they haven’t even bothered.

I think I was one of the first to have the issue the day the season started, I was unable to play on XB for 11 days before it was resolved. Whatever the intial fix was worked for about a month. Two days ago I was in trials and got a newt, another newt and then a watercress. So now back to ps4 becuase I cant play on XB. I know it sucks, it sucks bad. I know theyre looking into it, but for this issue I believe they have to work with Microsoft which might be why its taking so long.

How do you drop the guardian games but half of xbox still hasn’t been on their accounts in months and no fix in sight. It’s harder and harder to not uninstall the game every day and to not turn back.please just fix the game or at least fix the accounts or get back to ya. Nothing has been said about watercress the actually matters.

When I first log on and got the update, the game seemed to be fixed. I went to the tower, then I went to the Tangled Shore, ok to this point. So I thought why not try to go somewhere else and that should tell me if the Watercress/Newt is fixed. NO IT IS NOT I got the Newt error. So Bungie still has not fixed thier game. This is really uncalled for it is as if they do not CARE if some of us can play on our Xbox or not. I at least can do some things cross platform with my PC but not all things, as I refuse to pay more money out to get the full game Forsaken and Shadowkeep. Bungie need to step up to the plate and help people out, as I do not care for the PC version as it only plays at 720 not 1080 or 2160p.
