Free players already get Iron Banner, put Trials behind a paywall to stop cheaters.
Look, I don't like taking anything away from anyone, but the Free to Play model is seriously hurting Trials of Osiris with cheaters and hackers. Free players already have access to a Pinnacle Crucible event in Iron Banner, so put Trials behind the seasonal purchase or behind the year's expansion, or something. Why is my paid experience being ruined by some cheater who gets to play the game for free?

My solutions -Trials is available with any dlc purchase (yes, even if you already have dlc like Forsaken and it’s line and SK and any of the season passes) And -trials can be bought for a couple of bucks and comes with some silver That’s way people who already have DLC don’t need to buy it when they have access. NL players will need to buy it, but that’s to prevent hacker accounts from creating new accounts and immediately getting back to their games.

100% no to a pay wall. Cheaters will cheat no matter what you do, so the only proper way they can be taken care of is to ensure they are IP banned or completely ban their accounts. We know for a fact Bungie is sluggish in dealing with these cheaters because they don't care, and yet look at the state the game is in because of their lack of care.

Get rid of mouse and keyboard on console. The cheating isn't as bad but the ability to use most and keyboard on console makes it silly to try and compete with controller

2 RepliesI do understand and appreciate the argument for a pay wall. But the counter-argument is that cheaters are largely making money from the game, so it probably won't deter them. But it will prevent new players and casuals from playing- but that's a problem because we want them filling up the mode.

1 ReplyMost cheaters are doing it for money carries. It good income especially with the lockdowns at mo. Easy fast money, they would make the money back on the first run even if they had to pay.
