Queenbreaker's Bow
I guess I don't really have much to say about this other than I really think it should be moved to the Special slot like it's D1 counterpart. I realize the same could be said about most Linear Fusions, but I understand their heavy aim assist is part of the reason of them being in the Heavy slot. There's really no reason to use Queenbreaker over any other Heavy weapon, or even other Linears. Putting it in the Special slot, I think, would give it the edge it needs to at least be somewhat viable again.

2 RepliesAll linears should be special ammo, but I also think they need to do something to the whole archetype to make them relevant. Even if they do move it to special ammo rn, I don’t see what situations people would use them in over snipers

2 RepliesAll LFRs, excluding Sleeper Simulant, are made worthless by the existence of Arbalest, which does all of the same things without the drawback of needing heavy ammo. Lower the damage of them by a moderate amount, move them all to special weapons and give Arbalest a buff the effectiveness of its Exotic perk (partially shield piercing like Bastion, maybe?) so it still has some uniqueness to it.

I agree. I think Legend Of Acrius should be an energy weapon also, imo.

6 Replies100% agree, Bungie gave NO LEGITIMATE reason for the changes, it was fine where it was, and was NOT over used or abused. The weapon system in general should be returned, enough with this STUPID SH*T of 2 primaries!!!!! Bungie just bring back elemental primaries and shut up about it, stop micromanaging the game and catering to streamers !!!!!!! Yes, D1 has its issues, but nothing like this MASSIVE STEAMER, you DUMPED on the community!!!!!!! So many people leaving Destiny 2 for D1 should tell you something!!!!!!!!!!! LISTEN FOR ONCE!!!!!!

1 ReplyI legit have no reason why any of the Linear Fusions are in the heavy slot. They don't have the boss capabilities or the add clearing potential of other heavies. The closest I came to contemplating a heavy Linear Fusion was Line in the Sand for Gambit. Maybe if they got a decent buff next season they can stay in Heavy, but it'd have to be really decent. Although I think Queenbreaker's should just flat out be moved to the Special slot. Balance the damage/ammo capacity as needed. I want to use it but the fact it's heavy is a major turn off.

it was only called queenbreaker's bow in destiny but only called queenbreaker in destiny 2.

I agree. Also, I really want it to get a catalyst. I have a pet peeve about using weapons that don’t have a kill tracker, as I want it to be able to track kill counts, otherwise it doesn’t feel like it’s worth using.

It should definitely be moved back since there are way better weapons now for gambit.
