Pinnacle gear from iron banner? What a joke
I don't get it! this is the 3rd time now that I've grinded out the bounties for iron banner to get pinnacle gear and again, the flipping 3rd time in a row, I get 3 energy weapons. Like how on Earth is that even remotely possible???? I'm so salty right now that it's unreal. Such a waste of my time 😡😡😡😡

Practically two years later and this same crap is still happening. Energy weapon slot for me also. So frustrating. Stupid trash infinite compactor over and over…

2 RepliesYou're telling me. " I'm not good at Destiny PVP all the Jumping around, Super Powers..etc, I prefer Battlefield straight gun to gun combat. I play destiny strictly because of exploration PVE, love that stuff!! However, since I'm forced to do PVP for certain goals to meet, and to obtain more Pinnacle rewards, I bare it. So I took the time to earn the " Stag " and get the 10 precision kills on that. Every weapon I earned from Pinnicle is complete garbage and none of them come close to my " RiskRunner. I guess the only positive thing for me out of all that was the " Stag and being able to I guess say I have weapons you can only earn one way, or maybe!! So only thing the Iron Banner did for ultimately was to avoid PVP even more. I will not bother with " Nightfall the Ordeal "- trying to find good enough players to achieve 100k to get pinnacle rewards, there is no incentive giving every pinnacle I have had is complete garbage, compared to the gear I get just doing simple strikes, few exotic quest here and there.

5 RepliesTotally, it's terrible. Just finished the banner bounties on two characters. 4x bit of the fox, 2x helmets, 1x bond, 1x chest plate. Can't get a 1010 Heavy to save my life in this season. Keep at it man, has to be light at the end of the tunnel at some point.

I feel for you man. I remember when I first did that. I was choked I got a bunch of pinnacle heavy weapons. It's really dumb that Bungie doesn't let you know beforehand with a simple in game message "Iron Banner is Back. Complete the related quest to unlock armor and a new Ritual weapon". Easy peezy.

You know what? No. Not everyone knows that you have to Finish the armor quest first. I’ve been playing since D1 and did not know this. Could bungie take five frigging minutes and explain to loyal fans how their damn game works. Ridiculous.

I guess I got lucky. I only did the iron banner quest for the bow and I got 4 different pieces in each place I needed. I guess for once I got lucky

I got three 994 weapons and one 994 armour piece. Would have preferred all armour pieces, as that stays more constant than weapon choice.

Not the Stag Masterwork like everyone else has.

I know! At least in d1 the bounties said "armour" or "weapon" I've just completed the challenge and bounties on my 3rd guy all I needed was 1 piece of armour to push them up and then that would've boosted the other bounties. Got 1 piece of armour on 4th bounty 😭 Well that's 3 days of isolation wasted!

3 RepliesUsually I'm never getting the right pieces. Ended up with 2 heavy weapons, 1 energy, and 1 kinetic. This is almost perfect so that scores apply to all characters, not just my titan.

You need to complete the quest to drop armor from the bounties.

Did you finish the pursuit? If you didn’t you’ll only get weapons from the bounties.

10 out of my last 12 iron banner pinnacle bounties have been energy slot drops. Beyond stupid! If it happens this time round, I'm going to try to remember to swerve IB next month

Did you finish the quest and talk to Lord Salad, only then hand in your pinnacle bounties. Then you get armor..... It's been that way since these quest in IB started.

Oops I got lucky. I was only holding onto the Pinnacle rewards bc I wanted to get higher light and just cashed it out after I completed the quest

1 Replyplease just dont play IB, it has to be the worse pvp mode in any pvp game i have ever played. Solo's get farmed, no solo que. lvl advantages in a game mode that isn't trials should just get in the sea. its frustrating, its rage inducing and it still is in destiny after YEARS. never changes.
