Game freezes on "Exit to Desktop" since Season of the Worthy Update
It's done it to me twice nice. Game just freezes when I try to exit to desktop. Have to Alt+Tab to close it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Freezes on me too...on PC when I exit to desktop...I've used CTRL+ALT+DEL and then open task manager to close

Freezing on pc when trying to exit to the desktop. Constant party connection issues. Getting booted from team while trying to load into anything, loading in and nothing there but the map and yet my team mates can see me while they are instanced into the area just fine, lagging/teleporting enemies, and hitting long loading screens that I have never hit before.

Same... as well as a steady stream of mind boggling error codes. This is supposed to be a AAA studio. Ridiculous.

Yes it's does freeze on exit now... Whether it be from the menu or alt f4... I don't get the memory error problem, but in task manager (only way to close it unless it fully crashes itself) it looks like it's trying to open again and again for some strange reason, eating up CPU and ram. Oh boy....

1 ReplySame here. I used to be able to alt f4 when i was done and now it just freezes. It doesnt matter if i alt f4 or go to orbit press esc then click exit to desktop, it happens all the time. Never happened before the update. I have to open task manager and end task for it to close and sometimes ill get a memory error. All my other games and programs work flawlessly so i know its not my system.

Does every time I exit game on PC... What happened one time on exit (it still locked up) was a memory error popped up.

This also happens to me. It was working fine before Season of the Worthy.

it's doing the same to me on pc Windows 10 64-bit. before the patch, could exit or quit flawlessly. i thought maybe it was just my system...i hope they fix this soon. i do not enjoy when games crash on exit or start. loving the new upgrades tho!

Same here, using Win10. There is a Bungie process for error reporting also running in background if you look using Process Explorer, but no error messages popping up. Interesting that mouse cursor also freezes, which is rather rare.
