Bungie,
5,000 Iron Burden Kills. That is Legendary (Perspective). Destiny has become an experience where Absolutely Nothing Matters.
Any item obtained after countless hours, days, or weeks of grinding will be made nonviable over a short period time which is arguably understandable; HOWEVER, Removing Accolades, Achievements, Personal Victories, and Aesthetic Creativity from our Emblems, is a vicious attack on the individual identity of Guardians and a complete disregard of the time, skill, and most importantly Heart that goes into achieving specific numbers on seasonal or activity specific emblems.
I have been punched in the Soul. Forgiveness will be a long road.

I’ve had a long running rivalry with one of my friends over our gold medal counts. We would play together and compete for annihilation medals and rub undefeated medals in each others faces. I lost more than an emblem, I lost a core activity with my friends.

I was shocked to see all my numbers were reset or gone. This makes me sad. Now, I don't even know how many of those keys I did on Mar. And I don't want to look them up through my triumph page.

7 RepliesI have a feeling all the emblem tracking was dragging down the game. My bet is that crashing that happened in Last Wish because of tracking emblems was just part of a bigger problem, so they've shrunk the number of stats. But instead of saying, "Hey guys we let these emblems get out of hand and we have to pull them back for performance" they just make hundreds of stats disappear and act like they did us a favor.

They should have a least frozen all emblem values and moved them to a new 'Legacy Statistics' page. This would have shown some respect for their players/the past as well as some degree of awareness/understanding. Sigh . . ..

Over 5.5k kills with grenade launcher in Crucible now there's no option even to show that.

3 RepliesNew tag line. -we don’t care- About our player base Our paying customers Our IP Our content. Or lack thereof Our veteran players. Only way to change this is to; 1) stop playing. Yes they track this metric. (Meaningful) 2) DO NOT PAY REAL MONEY FOR ANYTHING. But this won’t happen. And the game will continue to devolve.
