Make more one player obtainable items

I fell as if every good item on destiny 2 requires a whole fire team and lots of grinding to get. Although I'm fine with the grinding I feel you should add far more one player type rewards and armor sets. Me being a solo player in destiny 2 I'd like to see less team based missions and way more one person missions or even more events or challenges which would be like vanguard where your fire team would be found online instead of you having to get a large group of people.

  • I do a lot of stuff solo myself but by “solo” I mean matchmaking. I try a raid once in a while but the experience hasn’t been desirable. Between random toxicity and convoluted mechanics the raids have left a bad taste in my mouth. Shame too because I like the loot from them personally. I find the dungeons a far better experience by far. They’re just missing the loot. And while they’re not matchmade, it’s far easier for me to get a friend to run it than five others.

  • Dude, you're in a clan. And it looks like you play just enough meet your clans "stay active" requirements. So it's obvious you don't really like the game. Just move on and play something else. Why come here and try to stir shit up?

  • Even as a 90% solo player myself, I would not endorse this. It's a team game. I think they need more MM options for endgame, but they should not focus on making content specifically for solo play. Wrong game.

    • It is a MULIPLAYER game. Needing muliple people to get good gear is as obvious as bullets needing firearms. to fire them.

          You have had multiple people tell you that what you want does exist. I even said it below and i will say it again. You can solo content its just skill and gear based. Are you still unaware? Or is this post more complaining about how you want less of a barrier and to reduce the skill gap? Sorry to say bub but if you log on for a minimal amount of time you are in no way entitled to be allowed to solo content like the rest of the community does. All non-6man content can and has been solo'ed. and if you are upset you cant solo a raid... well that is laughable.

            • 90% of the game has matchmaking. Only pinnacle activities don't, and the seasonal artifact was designed specifically to allow solo players to achieve pinnacle power without doing pinnacle activities. Comp has a freelance playlist. What the hell else are you wanting? Destiny is a social multiplayer game at its core, and even still 90% of the game can be done solo. Making the game much more solo-friendly than it already is would begin to betray the game's identity.

                The amount of items that are reasonably obtainable with at least in-game matchmaking far outweighs the amount of items that require pre-made fireteams. ..and of the items that are reasonably obtainable 'solo', plenty are on the high end of the scale for both potency and popularity. Xbox Raid popular weapons: of the 15 currently listed popular kinetic/energy/power weapons, 4 require a team. 3 if you solo for Izanagi (Not realistic) Xbox Gambit Prime popular weapons: of the 15 currently listed popular kinetic/energy/power weapons, 0 require a pre-made fireteam. Xbox Survival popular weapons: of the 12 currently listed popular kinetic/energy/power weapons, 0-2 of the weapons require a pre-made team. Not Forgotten and Mindbender's Ambition are technically obtainable solo. Not Forgotten is the only one that likely requires a team for most players. PC usage rates see a similar story. The amount of exotic weapons that can be obtained with in-game matchmaking also heavily outweighs the amount that require a pre-made team, the majority being the few raid exotics. Destiny 2's pyramid of loot really is composed of mostly 'solo' items, with a surprisingly few amount locked behind fireteam focused content. You're looking at essentially only Raid gear against everything else.

                • I can't wait until D3 is announced and it's all solo based and all the "THIS IS A MULTIPLAYER GAME LUVITORLEVEIT" people here who've shat on solo players the last 5 years all have to -blam!- off and actually accomplish tings on their own instead of relying on a team and playing Destiny: Easy Mode

                    Of The top 20 weapons In pvp and raids on both consoles only izanagi's requires a fireteam. 3 of the top 20 on pc(Thorn, izanagi's, and tlw) I think require a pre-made fireteam. Your premise is demonstrably false. [url]www.guardian.gg[/url]

                      • Been playing solo since launch. You can do almost everything minus raids solo. Sometimes you gotta branch out. I've helped a lot of solo players in my clan and they all agree its better to play with people.

                                  By forcing team-based play for missions / quests, it increases playing time as a whole. But yes....it would be nice to add certain things for solo players. Personally, I would love a solo player strikes playlist.

                                • You see that season pass, where they just hand you free armor, ornanents, exotics, ships etc? Just for clicking x. There you go. If you want more things in a multiplayer game, then play with multiple people.

                                • Yeah, I think hidden bosses in the open-world could liven things up a bit. Like, hidden in all the small caves and wretches and dead-ends throughout the game, powerful bosses that have mechanics designed for 1 - 3 players. 3 players could make the fight go faster, but it they would be entirely beatable by single person fireteams.

                                • Very few exotics are raid/activity based. Most are world drops. The ones that come from quests can usually be obtained as a "solo" player. For the ones that aren't, you can easily find a fireteam through multiple resources. If you [i]choose[/i] not to, then that's a you problem. For the Vanguard/crucible/Gambit pinnacles, those are all match made activities and, again, can be obtained as a "solo" player. Do you have any examples of what weapons you're referring to, and why you feel there is a barrier to you acquiring them?
