error code chicken for 2 weeks

I've been getting the error code chicken for about two weeks now. I've tried everything I could but nothing works. Sometimes I will get in the game (rarely) but if I try to go somewhere or go into my inventory it won't load. I have four ranks on my season pass left and this is blocking me from completing them. Please help.

 • Hi there. Thanks for reporting this error to us. CHICKEN indicates that you are experiencing a general networking issue. You may want to review our CHICKEN article for more information that may help with your issue. If you are on a wireless connection, a wired connection is recommended to play Destiny. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. Clearing your console cache, clearing your download cache, or verifying the integrity of your game files in the Steam app 2. Power cycling your internet router 3. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 4. Following our Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny.
