So with the whole shadowkeep story we see the direct tie with the vex and the darkness better than ever, my question for any of you lore scholars, is the pyramidion a vex attempt at constructing a darkness ship, a ship that was left on IO that the vex converted, or just a big triangle that they like?
I only ask because anywhere else the vex convert you don’t see a structure like this.

I doubt it. It seem like each Vex controlled planet has some sort of main hub of operations. Venus had the vault of glass, Nessus has... Um... Skip, and Io has the pyramidion

4 RepliesThere is no overall coherent story in destiny. It started with one, but now it's just a schizophrenic video game. They do fine with coherent stories in dlc but anything larger is beyond them at this point.

<Vex structures are varied in terms of geometry, not to mention that the Pyramidion is more a long diamond than it is a proper pyramid. Also, all Vex with the exception of the Sol Divisive do not worship the Deep and adamantly stand against all paracausal abilities. The Sol Divisive worship the Darkness, but they are not the Darkness. Even still, none of their architecture reflects that, it looks the same as the main network's.>

6 RepliesThe Vex are not Darkness. The Pyramidion is basically a Vex laboratory built to create Vex and to machinoform the planet. as opposed to the Infinite Forest, which is basically a library built to record the past, present and future & simulate potentialities.
