Got collector's edition code from a friend, but the code can only be redeemed on the Battle.net launcher. Can I redeem it on Steam somehow?
Is there any way for me to redeem this code on Steam? I tried to redeem it on battlenet, but it doesn't appear to have transferred any of the license over. The packaging my friend gave me said there was an emote, a sword, and an icon from it, are these just unobtainable even with a working code?

3 RepliesIt is quite unlikely that you will be able to redeem and use the code you received. It is not possible to redeem the code on Steam as the code was not issued for Steam. Actually, that code was issued about three years prior to the Steam migration. You could still try and redeem the code on Battle.net and then try to use the PC Move process to transfer the entitlement over to your Steam account. However, this is very likely not going to work. If you do try this route, make sure that you read everything the PC Move process says as it may ask you to overwrite your existing characters on Steam.
