    • Can we try something different? We always say to nerf the range on shotguns acting as if that ever worked. What we have yet to try is buff primaries SIGNIFICANTLY!

          • stay away from corners. Look at your radar, you see an enemy real close, its probably a good idea to back up a bit. Hope you land your shots.

          • The biggest problem with shotguns is the range after 8m. In assuming majority of the players here all spam shotguns on console. Which your rewarded for shooting 2 shots and getting 3 more shots. But on pc Shotguns are a huge problem after the 8m range. Since at 20m someone will shoot a hand cannon shot and then switch to a shotgun and kill you at 20m. Shotguns range after 8m should be way steeper.

          • 8 meters. Literally all you need to stay out of. For reference, that's about 2/3 of a Spectral Blades swipe. Plus, they're comically inconsistent and overall "meh" at best within that range, especially when not abusing the slide mechanic that's jankier than it deserves. You have summoned me.

            • NO they don't. Primaries need to kill faster. We've been DOWN this same damn road SO many times and it NEVER fixes anything. Bungie nerfed shotguns 23 times in Destiny 1, and people were STILL complaining about them. ...and they will CONTINUE to complain about them until primaries can fill fast enough that people can stand their ground and fight off rushers. Which we haven't been able to do now for five years.

              • Yes shotguns need a nerf, as much fun as it is to map people with a quickdraw mindbenders all game the time has come for pvp to be primary focus based

              • Slow Shotguns should kill in 5m And fast firing ones should 2 tap at 6 or 7 They are really broken now

                • Perfect nerf for shotgun that would not ruin the weapon. Sliding disabled while holding a shotgun in PvP. Movement speed reduced by 20% whle holding a shotgun in PvP. It will not affect PvE and people cant mindlesly ape in PvP. They need to actually use shotguns defensively instead of using them as rush weapons.

                  • They already have been Nerfed. 8 meters for spread Shotties is all you’re going to get as it is now. That isn’t far at all. If you’re letting someone inside that 8 meter range then that’s a [b]YOU[/b] problem. You’re simply getting outplayed. Try backpedaling. As a sniper I do it all the time.

                    • Range no Ease of use yea.... My biggest quarrel is when you die and the gun didn't even aim or fire, no animation was registered. It isnt the range that usually get you, its the out of the blue 360 turn and boom your down.

                    • Maybe a bit. The rest should be untouched. Jotunn and arbelist should be deleted from the game. Backup plan removed and range nerf to fusions Add flinch to snipers. Be a much better game.
