Any Dark Souls 2 vets out there?
I’m replaying the game. Last time I played was on the PS3 without the DLC or SotFS update. I’m also making a dark mage build and using magic for the first time in general.
I’m SL 90
I’m using the staff you buy from the mage guy in the level that has the chariot boss(I don’t remember the name of the location or the NPCs name)
I’m using a +8 flamberge with a poison infusion and buffing it with dark blade.
My question is, what’s a good Dex melee weapon that works well with a mage build?

2 RepliesEdited by Caggus: 2/5/2020 11:45:39 PMI play it regularly and play the PvP a lot too, although I hit Rank 3 in BoB, it’s still fun to fight. DS2 still has the most balanced PvP out of the entire series and I’ve replayed its PvE the most out of any souls game. A good dex weapon would be pretty much any katana. A dark infused Chaos Blade rips health bars up for PvP. If you want to survive in PvE then a dark berserker blade is probably your best option. Or you know; just R1 spam with a rapier and destroy every enemy and boss in the game with ease

4 RepliesHm.. Not sure. I don’t think I’ve ever mixed Dex and magic. So, here’s a bump!

2 RepliesDo you have high intelligence? If so I would go with something like the Moonlight Greatsword which scales with intelligence. If you have high dex though just get a high dex scaling weapon that can be buffed with crystal magic weapon - Black steel katana or Ricards Rapier are good. From memory they can both be buffed.

I just went full caster so I can't really help much. I did a pew pew at all my problems.
