You can select and play any campaign mission in D1, why not D2?
I would love to replay the first several campaign missions on D2 but I'm not willing to delete a character to do it.
I played D1 all day when D2 servers were down and had a great time running through dozens of campaign story missions from original destiny .
I am really surprised that we cant select story missions in D2 anymore.

5 RepliesReally? Because every time I've tried to play D1 while D2 servers were down it was impossible because they're the same servers. However, D1 missions were way, way better. Way better. I recently replayed all the D2 missions from Holliday and they are NOT very good except for sometimes aesthetically. Makes me wonder how much Bungie or Activision paid for those initial D2 reviews.
