I didn't think there were people cheating on this game. Then my last Iron Banner game had someone running a Hammerhead with infinite bullets at spawn.

4 RepliesWith the ability to get around IP bans and the FTP model on PC, they'll never get rid of cheating. It's just going to get worse when they bring back Trials, that new "we're going to be harder on cheating but allow for appeals" isn't going to cut it. Nothing they've done in the past five years has worked, why will it suddenly be OK now?

Aimbot... god mode... wallhack.. esp hack... all of it is on every -blam!-in console this game is done... banner is absolutely unplayable.. the ghost bullets r -blam!-in real as -blam!-.. god mode is a definate obviously. Esp hack is all over everybody's consoles they always corner shot u every -blam!-in second.. this game the most hacked game in history....the proof is there.. -blam!- u bungie this game does not have a future. Wtf is the point of going legend on comp every piece of shit noob hacker is alrdy unbroken its now pointless.. again.... -blam!- u bungie u r pathetic!

When destiny 2 was on blizzard I never ran into one cheater on PC. Since going to steam and free to play I see them quite often. The other issue is massive lag due to the p2p servers. The will be games I play in comp where the player is right in front of me taking shot after shot with no damage markers 5 seconds later he dies I get credited the kill, or else they kill you when your back behind the wall from checking the lane. It's because they shot you when you first peeked out just took that long to register due to the lag. So sometimes it seems like someone is cheating because their across the world from you with horrible internet. Comp should not be playable by any free to play accounts in the first place. Just my thoughts! I liked how blizzard had geographical locations to choose from. Why steam dont I dont know. Also once you play on PC there is no going back to console. Console game play cant even compare to PC in every aspect especially if you have a good rig!

A large number of recent posts have been from console players moving to PC and basically saying they keep running into aim-bots. I haven't seen any obvious aim-botting, and I've been playing PC KB+M for years. This leads me to believe that new console to PC transition players are still not quite used to how precise KB+M controls really are in the hands of a seasoned KB+M player.

PC version needs dedicated servers too. I don't know what sort of anti-cheat measures they might need to prevent aimbotting and such, though.
