Got spit on during spitting distance quest
So I'm in gambit, a game mode that I really despise, to finish getting Exit Strategy, I decided to work on getting Python too.
I was at 37 shotgun kills left to get the gun and I maxed out my Infamy and the game prompted me to reset it, which I did
Now I need 37 shotgun kills AND to reach Infamy rank Heroic again, yeah you read that right.... resetting my Infamy unchecked the box that was originally checked off.
What kind of sleazy game are you trying to run here?
My mountain top quest step for reaching 2100 is still intact and my glory step for Randy's throwing knife is still intact even though I'm not at 2100 anymore
But resetting my Infamy screwed me over?
Facepalm
Update: all of my kills are done, literally Python would be mine but I have to rank up again because of this busted quest.

Happened to me but I did it and finished Hush, Exit Strategy, and Python. Python was definitely worth it but yeah that reset thing hurts just power through as soon as you get heroic you're all done.

1 ReplyBungie notified us weeks ago to NOT reset our ranks. You musta missed it. But yeah we were notified weeks ago and still no fix on this (and a ton of other issues).

However - correct and user-friendly = customer-oriented approach would be that all players' data who met the criteria and unwittingly/unintentionally reset their rank would be marked as accomplished.

9 RepliesOuch, that is wrong. Just make sure to grind bounties on all 3 characters everyday, you’ll get back there in no time. BTW Exit and Python are both really good. They are worth the grind. Hush on the other hand . . . not so much.

5 RepliesYet another bug this season. The gambit season quest is bugged too, it says you need to reach a certain rank (heroic I think) but it's actually mythic that ticks off that quest. Bungie at thier best.

4 RepliesThis has been posted about in here multiple times. It's unfortunate that you didn't see it. That level shouldn't be too tough to get back to though. Especially during bonus Infamy. I'd say it's worth it. I do like the gun.
