The Wish Ender “Fix” (=nerf) is dumb

Wish Ender was supposed to be this cool different exotic when it came out; however, just like the majority of other exotics... it literally SUCKED. finally, there’s a glitch where it does really good damage. Yes, it is a glitch and is technically broken but for ONCE it was fun to use. If I have learned one thing about Bungie since the 2014 beta till now; if there is ANYTHING broken that Benefits the player, they will rush to work at midnight to disable and rush to fix the bug. If it doesn’t benefit the player; see ya in 6 -blam!-ing month for a fix. This shit pisses ppl off so much due to wishing the game would just get better on so many fronts! Let’s go over a short list: Things that benefitted the player that were immediately fixed or disabled: Jotuun Winters guile Wormgod Wishender Telesto Telesto Telesto Loot cave PvP map glitches Damage perks being good Pinnacles being good (I’m sure the list goes on) Things that do not benefit the player that may never be fixed: EDZ obelisk Servers Error codes galore Breakneck Terrible map design Broken exotic quests Cheater spam on PC Love Bounty/quest progress for many quests not registering Hand cannon bloom Erentil Terrible new light story/game progression not streamlined Loot incentives for Legend Sundial (While it was a thing) Vex offensive Final Letdown And the list could literally continue Feel free to add to the list in the comment section below!!!! Edit: the Bungie apologists and super fan bois are in full force today. Love ruffling all the feathers; is great!
it only brings more awareness to the issues in the game
I have to say that everyone has a different interpretation of "fun". To me, fun is challenging. I don't want weapons to push beyond the parameters intended for the player and trivialize the game. To others, obviously, fun is broken. That's because they feel opressed by rules of the game. The second the game can be exploited, it's enjoyed 100x more. If you could rob a bank and get away with it too, would you do it? That to me is short term enjoyment. If the devs didn't fix those things such as Well of radiance (for example) the game would get boring real fast. Remember where the character was pre shadowkeep? The devs had a choice: Make all monsters more powerful and maintain the course or scale is back. Stay the course: we do millions of dmg but only take a tic off of the health (numbers are meaningless and you feel like your 10th super in a row didn't dent the unit) Or They scale us back and the dmg we do feels beefy and we don't have 10 supers going off. Supers retain value and orbs are meaningful again. I'd say we need to be scaled back for the sake of the long-term. Also, the devs are fixing a glitch. Fixing the glitch isn't a Nerf. It's putting back to its previous buff. Originally it didn't do the dmg it was supposed to do.
