Simple request of this community. In the old days of trials and such, it used to mean basically, the same thing, players who try way too hard and play all the time.
But in D2, the sweaties just want to farm noobs in PvP to "relax" and make up lag problems when they can't after Bungie introduces SBMM, which protects the new lights from jerks like them until the new lights can actually get in and play the game a bit before having their morale broken by a bunch of tea bagging children.
So, I mean, wouldn't a try hard enjoy the challenge and brag about beating the other try hards? Seems like nobody is trying hard if they're always whining about having to face one another and not being fed enough stat boosting fodder so they can feel good about themselves.
So, I propose we just call them sweaties instead and drop the "try hard" moniker. Try hards are unbearable, but at least they try. This new wave of sweaties aren't happy unless they're in FTs gang banging new lights, and that's just sad.
Also, I find it increasingly ironic and amusing that these people whine in these forums all day about having to face each other, but just can't seem to grasp why casuals like me don't want to face them at all. What a great lack of self awareness /slowclap
Lulz. I miss the old try hards. They actually tried hard, even if they were obnoxious about it.
