I hate to say it because I want to be playing Crucible, but there are ZERO fun game modes. Everything is an absolute sweat fest with extreme lag, cheaters, unbalanced matchmaking and unbalanced guns. My fix... Lock peoples Glory Rank at 5500. Have this apply to Comp and to Quickplay. Force people at 5500 to only play people at the same rank. It’s not fair to allow the Top 1% to go into Quickplay and pubstomp. It creates toxic games and just pushes people away. I’d rather match make for 5 minutes than load into a broken game of unbalanced teams. Or create something like CoD which has Glory prestige. It’s no fun at all to go up against people who are so high above (or below) your skill level. This would also deal with cheating. If you want to cheat your way to 5500, you will then be forced to only play people of that caliber. No more fun games for you as punishment for cheating. Also...Take Heavy and Supers out of Competitive playlists. They have no place there. Make it about gun skill, not panic Wardcliff and Panic Supers. Ultimately, I believe the only way to fix PvP is to take every gun out, create a single group of balanced weapons, and not let people queue into crucible unless those weapons are equipped. People are too worried about using all these guns to realize they are a huge part of what breaks crucible. If you are above average or less, you are FORCED to use meta weapons anyways, it’s not like you see a diverse group of guns being used, so why not create “crucible only” guns that you can balance. Also Dedicated servers are needed. This 5+ year experiment of peer to peer has failed miserably. Most people get accused of cheating, and reported, all because of this crappy p2p net code. Almost every day I want to play PvP. But after 2 maybe 3 matches, I just can’t continue. It’s too frustrating even when I win. Very rarely do I ever end a game happy. I’m not the only one. Even your YouTube/Streamer base is bashing crucible. There are fan boys that will berate me for even CONSIDERING Destiny isn’t a 20 out of 10 game, but something needs to be done.
