1 ReplyDude, lady’s night is made for the guys out there, so they find the place full of girls when they get there.

2 RepliesIt's been awhile, but I remember reading something about these things. Basically, bars were total sausage fests so to get more women to come out they had these events to get them more comfortable with the place. Or something like that.
-
No, it's not.
-
But I’d the prices were changed to be the same that would be sexist.

Edited by themirror2man: 1/7/2020 1:19:09 PM$ doesnt care your gender... Unless it results in more $. Procreative that way. Edit: Ladies night is imo based on the woman at home idea and that they only get out "once and a while" and their husbands are cheap and dont give them much money to spend. And its designed for bars and nightclubs to draw men to bars with drunken loot by using ladies as bait for their amusement. With society declaring what is the path... Yes its racist. Imo. But money likes it.

1 ReplyFollow up question: if I say I identify as a lady, would they be obligated to give me the 1/2 price deal?

1 ReplyWhine whine whine, unless your outside of this bar,and don't have enough money for drinks, why care.

17 RepliesWhy shouldn't an establishment have the liberty to independently discern who they serve and at what prices?

Best guess is that only woman are allowed in. it's like there are restaurants in Japan that are only for the Japanese so tourist are shooed away. You can probably get around it by saying you identify as a woman then claim the usual isms and phobias if they don't give you the deal. I actually had to put on the stereotypical gay mannerisms to get into an LGBT bar with two friends. Never again.

1 ReplyWhat if I'm a tranny? Do I count as a lady of the night on ladies night?

6 RepliesGiving preferential treatment to a specific group is generally considered ok. The problem comes when you penalize one group over another. This is why everyone is ok with senior citizen discounts, military discounts, ladies night, etc. But people get pissed when one group is charged more than normal over another. So based on your example... “ladies night discounts”? Cool. “Dudes pay double on Tuesdays”? Not cool.

Because men rule the world and ladies night is to try and entice more ladies to show up for me to oogle at.
