I've had this issue ever since it was first adressed. I managed to get rid of it before the fix, by doing stuff with the files but even after the fix, some stuff just wouldn't apply. I reinstalled now but the settings are still not applying and I'm stuck at the highest settings now, unable to play the game at more than 40FPS.
