Hello. They stole the account BEFORE moving to Steam. I was on a business trip at this time, now I’ve returned, restored my Blizzard account, but my account has already been transferred to someone else’s Steam account. I have already read articles that this happens once and I can’t understand why this was done? Didn’t you take into account that people would lose a lot of accounts like that, and supposedly you’ve got no complaints about it? How could I prevent this? I don’t understand if hacking is developing very much and WHAT DO I DO NOW? can buy a new account so that you get a penny? Just the best, from the bottom of my heart, for the lost hours of life.

7 Replieshttps://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave/Recap de-activate cross-save, itll put a 90 day security suspension I believe but at least it's a start. Be smarter with your account from this point on, don't let others use it.

I can’t understand why this was done?
Their process was designed to be a one time one way transfer away from battlenet. Bungie and Battlenet most likely had to come to an agreement to allow the transfer away from battlenet but battlenet would not want to the arrangement to be an ongoing 2 way transfers back and forth nor would either party want to accept the the risks of the data being transferred repeatedly.
How could I prevent this?
General account security, Tough passwords that are not shared, 2 factor authentication, etc.
Didn’t you take into account that people would lose a lot of accounts like that, and supposedly you’ve got no complaints about it?
Bungie has always held us accountable for the security of our accounts. Sure there have been a handful of complaints but by and large very few for the scale of the migration.
WHAT DO I DO NOW?
Only thing you can do if you want to still play destiny 2... start over.
