How can you have an accurate gauge of what players like the best?

Question for Bungie. The best source for gauging what things in Destiny players like to play the most is obviously us, the players. So my question is, how can you have an accurate gauge in that when everything is so activity specific and there is so little player choice when it comes to pursuits? Example: how many people would play “activity x” if it wasn’t the only way to get “loot a?” Have you ever considered providing multiple paths of progression and seeing what players gravitate to the most? Seems like a no brainer. Not only would this improve the player experience by giving us more options, but seeing what players like and play the most would help when creating new content moving forward, would it not?

  • Don’t worry about Bungie. They won a recent award for their community involvement. Not the in-game community, external community/charity involvement.
