I originally started playing Destiny 2 on PC but right before shadowkeep came out I ran into some hardware issues with my PC. So while I was saving up for new hardware for my PC, I've been playing my PC characters on my Xbox through cross save. I haven't purchased shadowkeep keep yet, but with the digital deluxe edition currently on sale I am interested in buying it before the sale ends. What I'm most interested in is claiming my rewards for my fully leveled undying season pass.
So my question is, which platform should I purchase the digital deluxe edition on, Xbox or PC (keep in mind the characters I chose for cross save are my PC characters but I'm currently playing on xbox)? If I buy the deluxe edition on Xbox will my season passes carry over to PC when I'm ready to switch back? If I buy the deluxe edition on PC will season of the undying and the up coming seasons carry over to my Xbox?

1 ReplyThe season passes will go with you on either platform since you already have cross save enabled. You will need to buy the standard edition on the other platform if you still want to play on both later.

The Shadowkeep DLC is a game license for a platform, so it'll get applied to the platform you purchase it on. If you wish to play Shadowkeep on both platforms, then you'll need to purchase it on both. You could, for example purchase the Deluxe on PC (Season Passes and Shadowkeep) and standard edition on Xbox. Or the other way around.
