How hard is it to tune down erentel so it doesnt have super long range

Its not even hard to balance it, just add damage falloff im sure other fusions have the same thing, its just the thing is acting like a exotic. Im not complaining about it just not understanding how it hasnt been nerfed yet its been like this for a long time now and im sure people are tired if it.

    • It’s been like this since year one. It’s only recently that people are complaining about. What does not make sense is why didn’t they complain for the first 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 years of it being around?

It’s fine as is, and the data supports that. Instead of coming here and complaining about it you should try not standing still, not pushing one you can see out if cover, and not peeking when you care hear the really loud audio queue for charging.

          Usage is King with Bungo. Currently, it isn't even in the top 5 most used energy weapons overall, nor is it an outlier in terms of it's actual properties. You have summoned me.

        • I really don’t see erentil in the crucible matches I play, and when I do, that boi gets outplayed the same as people would outplay anyone else. In high end skill brackets, it’s easy to outplay. I may be an outlier tho, I’m basing this off of my experience after all.

        • Because you want to nerf something a lot of bad players depend on. Why it wasn't a problem before was because there were other weapons used as the meta. You nerf a meta, something else will always take it's place.

        • Because if the damage fall off is too far the nerf won't help, if it's too short than you make max impact fusions useless, so you have to make a change, playtest it, gather data, and then keep trying. Which is why bungie needs an in-game TTS.
