Sleeper simulant is not top tier, but far from the low tier of heavy weapon. So yes, i'm perfectly remember Sleeper. Especially when shooting beside of someone kill him.

I still use it all the time...? It’s not as bad as people seem to think it is. It’s still good. ...with the Catalyst.

1 ReplyNo because Linear Fusions suck. Sleeper was good in D1. It was loved because of the aim assist being super high. But in D1, only 2 Linear fusions existed and one was classified as a sniper.

7 RepliesI got a mod for Finding Linear Fusion Rifle Ammo and for holding Extra Linear Fusion Rifle Ammo the other day. Pulled my Sleeper from Collections and tried it out on the moon against Wizards and Gate Lords. The Ammo Finder kept adding 1 shot per brick and the Extra Ammo holder only pushed it up by holding 9 rounds total. Very anemic.

7 RepliesIt's still good right? It got an ammo nerf and a nerf to ricochet damage, but it should still do some massive damage. Especially to Hydras. Now I want to equip it and use it for about a week or two.

Linear fusion rifles basically have no reason to exist at the moment. Swords are pretty bad too.

I would prefer it to be changed back to its D1 ability. LFRs are meant to point and snipe with. The way they changed the Sleeper is the opposite of how you're supposed to use them. Aim at the floor/ceiling/wall and hope the five beam ricochets hit your target.
