Top Tree Dawnblade is pretty bad

(Warlock Subclass Reworks) I'm going to do all class and subclasses depending on positive feedback. Currently all classes lack power fantasy and it's a bit of a let down. as armor 2.0 is no different then pre patch. So builds are like non existent. (dawnblade) attunement of sky (Burning Sun) Enemies inflicted by your solar abilities burn your target and temporarily increase your movement reload speed and increased in air accuracy. In air accuracy increased by 15 percent. (These changes are implemented to add more synergy and allow for burning sun to be activated from melee, greande as well as in super) (Heat rises)Airborne kills recharge your grenade and melee energy. Casting Daybreak disorients nearby enemies. Grants the effects of d1's exotic purifier robes. (These changes were implemented since the return of ability energy deemed useless as they could be earned in and out of super while getting airborne kills.) (Icarus Dash) dropped down from a 5 second cooldown to 2.3 seconds. Icarus dashing while burning sun is active allows for a double dash of Icarus dash. ( These changes were implemented as Icarus dash had no synergy in it's current state. As well as being able to be used more effective and efficiently.) (Winged Sun)Engage your enemies mid-flight. Fire weapons and throw grenades while gliding. Remains the same. (Wings of the sacred dawn) Now grants an in air accuracy buff with a solar based Weapons while airborne. Ads while in air suspends you in air. Applying damage while ads also allows the effects of the wings of scared dawn to continue and last longer. Taking damage while suspended in air will allow you to fall faster.

  • I pulled sunbreakers out of my vault. Now whenever I melee kill a thrall, I jump in the air and frag. Airborne kills regen my melee so I can repeat the process over and over. Enhanced ashes to assets, lets me get my super quicker, which is nice. I do think that without the gauntlets that is needs something more, I frankly don't know yet.

  • The only issue with top tree is that its neutral game is niche. Every warlock subclass minus solar top and bottom has a reliable cooldown mitigation top tree has a risky one that involves being in the air and bottom tree doesn't even have one. I loved sunsinger in d1 and would not mind its cooldown reduction effects being introduced and Phoenix dive should deal damage regardless of being in a super since its not even a 1 hit kill and it would warrant the melee being slow. Warlocks aren't in a bad spot with the exception of the melee spd and solar being outdated and void bottom. Void and Arc top and middle are fine with or without a build.

[/quote] I’m a Warlock main & even I know that’s gonna be a huge problem. 3 seconds is the cooldown for Twilight Garrison in D1, even that was barely balanced. You want to be able to double dodge too? Come on dood... —————————————————————————— Almost all Warlock Supers are amazing & balanced, except for a select few: Stormtrance: Attunement of the Elements (Bottom Tree) Landfall - damage needs increased by 100% and should also increase the damage of Storm Grenades (by 50%). Electro Static Surge - What does this do? Replace it with the D1 perk “Perpetual Charge” - Melee kills restore your grenade, Grenade kills restore your melee. Voidwalker: Attunement of Hunger (Top Tree) Vortex Nova Bomb - sucks... replace it with the D1 option “Lance” - your Nova Bomb travels faster and straighter. Just keep the vortex effect on impact. Attunement of Fission (Middle Tree) Decrease charge time from 0.7 to 0.5 seconds. Remove slowed movement while charging. Decrease duration from 22 to 16 seconds. Lower the cost of a fully charged blast to allow 8 detonations within this time frame. Remove the cost of using dark-blink. Remove the extra cost to hold a charged blast. Increase PvE damage against majors & mini-bosses by 40%. Dawnblade: Top & Bottom tree. I don’t have any good feedback on these because I never use them, but they do need better synergy.
