Would love to know how match making in Destiny PvP works
A lot of times when I play Survival I play against players with a lot more points. Also when I play normal crucible or IB I get matched up against full teams of unbrokens. How does this work? Is there any match making at all?
It definitely has nothing to do with connection since I have 1Gb up and down with 5 ping and still play against players with the worst internet ever...
It would be nice if we at least knew what it is based on?

It doesn’t work and any attempt by Bungie to say different is a flat out lie. This game has Zero matchmaking and is a major reason people try the game and then quit. No one likes to get stomped over and over their “team balancing” punishes good players as they expect them to carry the team. I’ve been trying to get friends to play. Not one has lasted longer than a week due to the horrible matchmaking. Bungie has no idea what they are doing. They only constant is the matches are typically lopsided and not fun.

Skill based matchmaking is not real. It’s currently broken still. People who say we have SBMM right now don’t know what they are talking about.
