Verify Integrity of Game Files crash still
Game works for a while, then randomly it starts crashing somewhere. Right now I can't go to Titan at all, even if I restart the game, and steam, it keeps crashing every time I try to go there. I can go to the Tower just fine, but if I then go to Titan afterwards, crash. This is how it usually goes too whenever I get this, it's like that specific file gets locked up until you reboot your computer. It's not Titan specifically, but wherever the crash happened, you can't go there again or it keeps crashing.

I would like to add to this. I experience this issue a lot where it seems that the game files corrupt randomly. My setup is: MSI z97 Gaming 5 motherboard (latest BIOS) i7-4790k @ 4.0 Ghz 16 GB Kingston DDR3 2400 RAM 500 GB Samsung 960 Pro NVME drive 500 GB WD blue SSD EVGA GTX 1660 ti EVGA 1050 ti Running Windows 10 x64. I've updated everything from Windows, BIOS, graphics drivers, samsung drivers etc. Windows doesn't report any issues with my file system or memory issues. My PC is not overclocked or over heating No issues with the GPU to speak of Also NONE of my other games crash on this machine either. Very strange. After verifying the game files it will work for like an hour or so and then I have to verify the game files again. I have a NVME drive so it goes real quick but still very annoying. It also happens on one of the vm's running on my unraid server which is using a SATA drive and vdisks so it's a completely different storage/memory setup. My other PC doesn't seem to ever have this issue, and my brother in law's doesn't either. If it is in fact a hardware issue, more logging my help point me to where the problem is.

Bungie/Steam please fix this , we're still facing this issue, makes me want to quit.

"we're investigating" means they have no -blam!-ing clue how to fix this issue yet. I've been having this issue for like 5 months now

1 ReplyYeah, it's on the known issue list: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/48179 I get that a lot too. Usually helps for a while when I do the Verify integrity thing it tells us to.

Yeah it wont be fixed sorry to inform you problem was on blizzard and as far as reddit and google told me it wasnt fixed there so i doubt they're gonna fix it since its not really being mentioned by bungie. there are plenty of other good games you can play tho. or you can get a ps4/xbox one
